Heavy FPS drop in multiplayer games
tried PROTON_USE_WINED3D= but seemingly didnt help
Cannot click on the very edges of the screen, but everywhere else is fine
Game freezes when loading map for the first time, unfreezes after around 10 seconds
Error signs shown, but no lag
Skip shader pre-caching on launch
Borked anti-cheat :(
+fps_max 0 -dev -eac_launcher_settings=SettingsDX12.json
After loading into the lobby it shows a message saying anti cheat is not active, then kicks you back to initial menu.
Disable steam overlay and disable VPN for logging into ubisoft connect
Works perfectly out the box
slight stuttering and freezes but goes away after about 2 minutes
Play only if you dont want to back up data
Ran fine except the in game browser didnt work making me unable to get my save file back
Game drops to unplayable FPS when joining game, low FPS continues even in the menu
FPS drops to 10 after anything 3D is rendered
Worked out of the box
use -noeac as a launch parameter and it works
Worked flawlessly out of the box
Dani's own anti-cheat but its pretty bad so it barely affects the game
Perfect OOTB for singleplayer
Steam remote play would either crash 5-10 seconds after launching or not detect the other player's controller
When using regular proton many 3D models wouldnt render correctly
mouse input is sometimes delayed but is fixed on a restart
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Online services broken due to "Inappropriate activity" after 1.12 update.
Runs OOTB if you have a beefy machine
About half the FPS as windows
runs out the box, even windows doesnt do that
cloud saves arent a thing so back your saves up
Works great OOTB
I used this script to install mods https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer
I made a guide as to how you can install Fallout: London with Mod Organiser 2 https://youtu.be/DSexVSaJDoI?si=Uwx0IvysRAfoAVO2
Runs OOTB
The usual NV jank, same as windows
Used this for mods https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer
Perfect OOTB
To install MegaHack, extract it into the game files then rename MegaHackInstaller.exe to GeometryDash.exe , make sure to save the original exe (rename to GeometryDash1.exe for example), then run the game from steam and go through the MegaHack installer, selecting the original exe, which should still be in your game files, then once done rename both exes to their original names and run as normal
Perfect OOTB
Rockstar launcher doesnt cause any issues
Near perfect OOTB
Tabbing out sometimes causes FPS to drop to around 20-30 until the game is restarted
Near perfect OOTB
After about 2 hours of playing the FPS would drop by around 20. Restart fixes it
After about 1 hour of playing with a PS5 controller the game would start showing keyboard prompts and start flickering between keyboard and controller prompts when giving any input on the controller.
Low FPS in one area, otherwise OOTB perfect
<15 FPS when at Tangaroa (glass dome city)
either skip the glass dome city somehow or switch to a windows partition when inside
Can run perfectly with one change
Ran perfectly fine for me after i had disabled the startup video in options.ini (Change "play startup video" to false)
Unplayable due to FPS alone
<15 FPS whilst playing
Their own anticheat, hence why it only runs in one version of proton
40FPS but the same on windows so game just weird :/
OOTB working
Couldnt make it past the splash screen
90% of the time crashes on the initial loading screen, sometimes causing entire system to freeze up. Managed to get into one game over 2.9 hours of trying that subsequentially crashed at the end although it was a surprisingly stable game.
Worked near flawlessly out of the box
Game starts in 1920x800 with an uncentered mouse but changing it to native resolution fixes it
Near perfect OOTB
Mouse cursor texture bugged making it sort of hard to see in menus
-dx11
1st game stutters heavily on each launch
Switch to "bleeding-edge" in Proton Experimental betas, otherwise the game hangs ~10 seconds after launch
Flawless OOTB
Online multiplayer beta works OOTB, no tinkering
Proton is required for repentance DLC
Works near perfectly OOTB
When in fullscreen there is common screen tearing and ghosting
Just play in windowed
Ran perfectly out of the box
Fullscreen was a bit jank but worked
OOTB native like experience
Alt Tabbing crashed the game, fixed itself eventually :I
Disable Vsync
Near perfect OOTB
EAC Is disabled causing multiplayer to not work
Ubisoft connect will keep running in the background even after closing the game, make sure to manually close it.
Whenever i ran it with regular proton it would just show a blank black game window
