Better playable with native version.
Runs flawlessly!

Nice game
Sometimes lags/stutters. Rejoining server/restarting the game fixes the issue.
Regarding my previous report that the game wouldn't launch, I restarted Steam and that fixed the issue. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Launches native, does not launch with Proton
Switched to Proton Experimental, 8.0-4, GE
Launches to Unity logo, grey screen and then stops responding. Does not launch at all with the Proton versions I tried.

It just works, either native/proton performance is excelent and no bugs.
Just works

Perfect in Proton. Native is also there but playability seems to depend on the system in Native.
Perfect. No invasive anticheat.

Roda bem pra quem gosta do genero maluco e divirtido é um prato cheio
identico ao windows
Roda bem pra quem gosta do genero maluco e divirtido é um prato cheio
I had no issues playing online whatsoever.
Works perfectly.

Just download and play!
Multiplayer works without any problem.
I didn't have to make any changes, I just downloaded and played.

Windowed mode broke graphics (black screen), only full screen mode works.
Game quite well but everything else in computer slows down. Makes computer reach 80C and gets the fans quite loud.
Run the game with proton by use of specific proton version. Linux version of game has broken video with just black screen.
Native version doesn't open and using protondb makes the game freeze in the main menu. It works fine on windows in my machine.

Its a great game, seems to be running fine with no graphical issues on both proton and native, which this game luckily has.
Changing resolution or changing fullscreenmode might freeze or crash the game.
Native version doesn't work, proton crashes

The game runs perfectly with both Proton and Native Linux Runtime. I recommend to use the native Linux Port
The game runs perfectly for both Windows (Proton) and Linux. The game has a native Linux Client. With Proton some maps dont load so USE THE NATIVE LINUX CLIENT!
On Proton some maps dont load so USE THE NATIVE CLIENT

I switched the fullscreen settings thingy and it just black screened.

Don't use Proton 5.31 to run Crab Game.
It opens, but it wouldn't go to the main menu. I move around the unity window loading and it created a solitaire effect. Then, it crashed.

Native performance and no bugs or crashes except Alt+Tab (only in exclusive fullscreen mode) would crash the game
When using exclusive fullscreen alt-tabbing will make the game black out or crash. Use borderless window then it works just fine.

Gameplay is great, copy-pasting codes is supported, overall great experience minus the crashing with alt-tabbing (SwayWM w/ Xwayland)
Alt-tabbing occasionally causes crashing
I'm using Proton-6.21-GE-2.
Some people find that the native version is not launching properly. The fix to this is easy enough. Go into the game properties and select Compatibility, then change the dropdown to "Steam Native Runtime". This will fix the missing executable error because for some reason it installs the EXE and not the actual Linux executable.

Native = .Exe stable but no Voice Chat. Proton = Audible Voice Chat but no Alt+Tab
Mic issues: see notes below.
Game runs well but there's a trade-off. If you run natively you can experience a non-crashing game without issue but cannot hear the voice chat of other players (which is very critical to gameplay). If you play via Proton 6.3-8 you cannot Alt+Tab or click into a second monitor without risking a crash. Just an FYI: If you have loot crate items from one version; you must unequip them in that version to re-equip them in the other.
Linux version not starting, with Proton it crashes
Linux version doesn't include executable. This often happens when using Unity to import to Linux. Using Proton the game crashes as soon as you get in a lobby.
Runs perfectly fine for me.

If you're fine with the occasional crash and the inability to alt-tab, you'll have a good time playing this game.
Game would completely freeze every hour or two. It'd also freeze if you alt tabbed.
PopOS crashes after splash screen
After install trying to run it on POPOS it shows the Unity Splash Screen but after than it shows the "Not Responding" error.

After the latest update default proton stopped working and i had to use Proton Experimental, otherwise it would crash in the lobby.

It seems a native version for Linux is out
Runs perfectly without any issues
steam warning saying missing executable

A bit laggy, but not sure if that was linux, or if that was just our network being bogged down.
Honestly not sure if it was our network connection (as we did have two systems, this openSUSE TW, plus a Windows system also playing Crab Game and a couple of folks watching TV), or if it was the game.

Do not alt-tab, or the game will crash.
Crashes after a while if alt-tabbed

Besides playing in windowed full screen, works perfect out of the box
Stability issues in full screen, but worked perfectly in windowed full screen

Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Just don't mess with the full screen options and you'll be fine.
When I applied full screen in the settings, the game crashed. I have two monitors, so my solution when tabbing out of the game was press escape and click over to my other monitor.
There was a slight bug that showed up as a green flicker in the loading menu when you would start a new game mode.

game freezes in exclusive fullscreen after alt tab
at first my mouse didnt work, a reboot fixed it
game has an official native version on https://danidev.itch.io/crab-game-mac-linux, the dev wants to add it to steam later
