Runs smoothly and controls well. Highest settings with 45fps cap for consistency, but can run a bit higher than that.
Some text can be a bit small. No way to adjust text size, but it's still bearable to me personally.
Runs pretty well out of the box, with no big issues.
Recommend 30fps lock, but with default settings it drops below somewhat frequently. Not an issue to me in this kind of game.
No issues after getting past Ubi Connect. Game runs well at default settings, capped at 40fps for consistency.
Ubisoft connect requires login every time. Minor annoyance overall.
The game works perfectly out of the box, with no adjustments at all necesary. Autodetected graphics settings run at a mostly perfect 60fps.
Runs fine, I locked to 40 for consistency. Very blurry though, without any graphics settings to adjust directly.
Performance seems much improved since earlier reports. Can hold 50fps reliably at Medium settings outside of cutscenes.
During cutscenes performance can drop to the 30s, but as they make up a relatively small part of the experience it doesn't bother me much.

No issues, unlike earlier report by someone else, damage numbers and other info UI renders fine.
Initially you will not see controller prompts and your mouse cursor will be invisible.
- In the game settings, enable "Enable non-steam gamepad"
- Select any controller layout other than the "Official" one
- You might have to move the UI scale slider around a bit and/or restart the game
You should now see the controller bottom prompts on the ability bar, as well as your mouse cursor.
All good after doing some minor fixes for controllers, as described in the report.
Runs at 30-40fps (depending on visible enemy amount) on low settings in Ultra Quality render scale.
Earlier issues with launching the game were fixed by patch today (10.02.2024)
Tried with Proton 9.0-1, 8.0-5, Experimental and GE-Proton9-4, always the same result.
No audio issues, but if you experience them, on my Windows PC I was able to fix them by enabling vsync ingame and using the ingame fps limiter.
After Audio fix the game runs extremely well outside of occasional frame drops during cutscenes, and seems to have no further issues.
WINDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_9=n" PROTON_HEAP_DELAY_FREE=1 %command%
A lot of Audio is missing. Can be fixed by copying over XAudio2_9.dll from a Windows install, as has been documented here before.

Earlier reported audio issues have been resolved by patch.

The game holds reasonably steadily to 30fps, with small stutters when things are loading. Not happening while in the hub or combat.
CryoUtilities with recommended settings.
Used ingame fps limiter to limit to 30fps.
Seems issues around video playback have been resolved by now. I prefer resolution to other graphics settings, so 100% render scale and low settings gives a reasonably solid 45fps.
Game starts up just fine with all default configuration. Might have been fixed on proton side since the earlier report? Performance is the same as before as well. Personally using 100% scaling on Standard settings preset, locked to 45 fps for consistency.
Works perfectly out of the box. My preferred way is to use the "PC Port" graphics preset and change the aspect ration to 16:10.
The reflections setting actually controls ray-traced reflections. The game still has reflections with the setting disabled, just not RT ones. Honestly, the non-RT reflections look better to me.
Text can be pretty small. Still readable, but barely.
Can reach mostly locked 30fps in High preset, mostly locked 60fps in Medium preset.
Offers no graphics settings on Steam Deck, but is tuned to run at 30-40fps. Recommend locking at 30 for consistency. It's a bit blurry as usual for Unreal Engine games, but still very playable.
I was using a BT controller and had to manually reorder the controllers in Steam so that it was number one, otherwise it would not respond. Easy fix though.
The start screen will show up, do its slow zoom in animation for 2 seconds (without accepting any inputs) and then crash in such a way where shutting off the Steam Deck is the only way to escape. It will also reboot by itself after 30 or so seconds. Attempted starting with Proton 7.0.2, 6.3.8 and experimental, same result every time.
This is based on roughly the content that the demo covered (but in the final release version.)
The game defaults to Very High graphics, which run at about 30fps. I've changed it to everything on High except Shadows to Medium, and can get a locked 45fps, while having the game look great.
