Runs without any tinkering required, the default setting was used and I experienced no issues
Works perfectly
game plays as if native
Works like native

Text readability is the biggest problem, but since it's mainly an issue when paused in menus I'd say it's still enjoyable enough.
In-game 30 FPS cap
There is a setting to enlarge in-game subtitles which helps with that aspect, but the rest of the text ranges from small to tiny, especially in the various menus.
In the comic panel-style cutscenes, there are sharp frame drops during panel transitions.

I started playing with Nobara39, around midway through I changed to Bazzite 3.1 and it worked perfectly on both of them!

Absolutely flawless experience
Completed 1st playthrough on Windows and NG+ on Linux. No issues with save files transferring over. Identical performance on both system. I also managed to tweak the engine.ini to increase the overall graphics and removed pesky settings like chromatic aberration through nexusmods guides and it still runs perfectly fine.

runs fine
everything works as expected.

Limit to 45hz

Game runs perfectly out of the box, no changes needed, can optimise for 45fps and longer battery if you really want.

Flickering during cutscenes if switching to DX12
The game uses DX11 by default but it has slowdowns in heavy areas, hovering around 55-57 fps. Switching to DX12 solves it. Once the game is done compiling shaders, it runs 60++ fps all the time. But DX12 causes flickering during 2D cutscenes. Locking to 55hz on DX11 is preferable because the flickering gave me headache.
Stuttering when moving to new areas due to the game compiling shaders. After that is done it's buttery smooth.

When starting a battle in the level "Phase 1 Searching for Freedom", it crashes after a couple seconds.
Works perfectly fine up until the level: "Phase 1 Searching for Freedom" when it crashes after starting a battle.
Runs perfectly out of the box.
Super snappy and just as fun as playing on my desktop!
Complete the game fully on linux. 24 hours straight of flawless experience.

Works flawlessly. Smoother/better experience than even Windows.

As long as you keep the game on Borderless and adjust the settings for speed, you should be fine.
There are augmented reality signs, "Visions", that appear in the cities and other locations. Every one of these had serious artifact problems no matter what I did. The water texture outside of the OSF HQ in Suou also had this same effect. Screenshot for example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2924510078
In trying to get a better framerate out of the game, I swapped from Borderless to standard Fullscreen. The game started to softlock at random times, first in the shop, then in the middle of a cutscene. Switching back to Borderless stopped these from happening.
While running the game on medium settings, the game would start out running fine, but it would eventually slow and chug on the framerate, even when nothing was happening. Setting everything to low stopped this from happening.
Apart from the issues introduced by Fullscreen, I had the game softlock during the first Phase 9 Yuito boss battle when transitioning from cutscene to gameplay. It only happened once.
I played this to completion of Yuito's story on the Free Weekend, thus why it shows as unowned.
runs perfect on Proton 7.0-5
Had to switch to Proton 5.0-10
No issues found

With mixed medium to high settings, I'm constantly sitting on 50fps w/ 50Hz. There is no support for 1280x800 though, so it runs in 1280x720 (or at least I couln't find the option).
Runs perfectly OOTB.
The game runs with zero issues OOTB.

Constant freezes on steam deck
Entering fullscreen disables the resolution options
Game completely freezes regularily, like during the introduction cinematic for the male character. Changing the proton version allows me to move forward a little, but it would then freeze later in cinematics or combat sequences.
Ran perfect out of box.
Frequent crashing with default configuration
I've started both campaigns a few times. One crash on the female character right as the tutorial sequence started, but it worked fine the second time. The game has crashed immediately after the cutscene following the tutorial for the male character every time - 3 times so far.
5 crashes in 45 minutes of gameplay. I have only been able to get past the tutorial sequence and intro cutscenes once out of six attempts to start the campaign. The crashing is so bad I took a second look at my drivers and system configs, because everyone else is supposedly having a great experience out of the box. Completely broken for me.
Worked great out of box. Capped FPS at 60 (think it was default?)
One crash. Did clip through map once, but probably a game bug.
Game played great, 4K res on an OLED. Use Xbox Elite2 controller which worked flawlessly.
Works out of the box
If you played the demo first, installing the full game will wipe your story demo save
Due to the way steam handles save data on linux, importing story demo save data does not seem to be possible unless you back up the demo before buying the full game. Lost several hours of progress.
Due to some FPS drops in a busier part of the city, even at low settings, I decided to play at 40Hz/40FPS at max settings. I also assigned the back buttons for target switching, which I found quite helpful. It is a verified Steam Deck title, so it's no surprise that it runs without tinkering.
Locked the refresh rate to 40 Hz, easily 3+ hours of play time
Graphics settings can be pushed to the max by locking the screen refresh rate to 40 Hz.
