Aside from the weird Unity error slowing down the process of closing the game (appears to occur randomly), the game runs perfectly fine out of the box.
Skill preview videos and the intro video (only shows during the first launch of the game) doesn't work, albeit also an issue I've faced on Windows 10 too - being a coin flip where it sometimes work and it doesn't.
No notable performance difference between X11 and Wayland: I averaged around 78 - 90 FPS on both sessions at Ultra preset graphics setting. This also includes Proton 8.0-4 and Experimental.
However there was a noticeable difference between W10 and Proton: 100 - 120 FPS at Ultra, 130 - 140 FPS at Low vs 150 - 170 FPS on Proton.
tl;dr - Runs better on Low graphics but performs worse on Ultra against Windows.
Pretty much like native
Still runs perfectly fine with the recent 0.7 update
Nearly perfectly OOTB with 1 minor issue
Function keys (F1, F2, etc...) wouldn't work for some reason so I can't switch my radial loadouts with the default keybinds.
Performance was pretty much identical to Windows. No issues with save data transferring over. Even online multiplayer and mods worked flawlessly!

The games runs perfectly out of the box with no issues. Yes the game is already defaulted to maximum graphics settings and no - there is no way to change the graphics settings in-game at all.
The game looks unbearably blurry from wayy too much bloom so I looked into mods to fix this. The mod is called JKSFix and you can find it on GitHub and simply follow the instructions on installing it (requires above parameters).
The mod is already a must-have simply from being able to turn off settings like bloom and chromatic aberration, in addition to uncensoring the game + other tools aiding in taking screenshots!
Kudos to eevbb for creating such a much needed mod!
Absolutely flawless experience
Completed 1st playthrough on Windows and NG+ on Linux. No issues with save files transferring over. Identical performance on both system. I also managed to tweak the engine.ini to increase the overall graphics and removed pesky settings like chromatic aberration through nexusmods guides and it still runs perfectly fine.
Mouse cursor disappears during initial login page
As others have previously pointed out, there were some issues trying to log in to the game.
Although I didn't encounter any blackscreen or loading screen issues, I was not able to interact with the login section at all since my mouse cursor would disappear when hovering over it.
Switching over to ProtonGE fixed this, but it wasn't enough to solve my login issues entirely - I was still not able to interact with the textbox. I forced windowed mode through KDE Plasma's window management since it would revert back to fullscreen despite launching with Steam's launch options; and was finally able to log in.
Other than VN sections being noticeably choppy and the notice section being unable to load the game's news, the game runs perfectly fine without any more issues.
