Latest Proton-experimental, Hotfix, or GE does not work as of 2025-03-18. Flip back to Proton 7.0-6 works.

no issues, no complaints. a very interesting game that makes me want to try out similar games of the same genre, namely DAVE THE DIVER

Runs better than some natively supported Linux games. Great cozy restaurant managing slash easy rhythm game to wind down and meet your Touhou faves.

Recently experienced a crash. May just be my specific system.
On the day of Youmu's first trial, during the regular restaurant phase (not the trial), the game will randomly cause my screen to have issues, then subsequently stop responding. I'm not sure if this is due to any recent updates, or that it is that specific day that has an issue. Will report back if I find anything new.

Works perfectly out of the box, I didn't have to tinker with anything

Literally out of the box: no tinker, no command launch, etc. Just install and play. Damn simple. Also work well in Steam Deck.

Works across many distros I tried recently, and it all went well out of the box.

It just works
A perfect out of the box experience.

When syncing saves from another device, "continue" would not use the last save if multiple are present. Either only use a single save file or "continue" then "load" in the notebook.

No one else has seemingly pointed out that this games runs flawlessly except for one thing - this game is 50Hz, not 60Hz. With default settings the FPS counter will read 60, but movements look "janky".
Just set the Steam Deck to 50Hz / 50 FPS and everything runs like butter.
Moving around the world with the D-Pad is completely broken. When you hold a direction, you cannot change direction unless you take your thumb OFF the D-Pad.
This is easily remedied by changing the D-Pad to the left analogue stick in the Steam Deck's control settings.

Zero issues, game treats controller input as first class citizien so it plays really well out of the box.
Other than a few minor issues, it works just about perfectly.
When using dpad on a controller, the input would occasionally stick
Minor stuttering, nothing too annoying
Alt-Tab back and you'll see black screen, change to borderless window worked fine
Not my current hardware but on the old Intel HD Graphics 4000 it capped to 25fps no matter what.
主体可玩 非原生分辨率画面模糊( 1080P in QHD ) DLC 无法正常加载
切换到窗口模式卡死,非原生分辨率画面模糊
DLC不可玩,DLC Music无法加载

On Fullscreen,if swtich to another window, when back to game in fullscreen mode, the whole WM will be freezed,I have no choice but to use SIGKILL or restart X11 (even worse, sometimes I need reboot) to make my computer alive again.
Should be a X11 bug, sometimes will broken my gaming experience when using NVIDIA GPU on hybrid GPU laptop, also,I have been experienced this problen in Kwin.
Using directional input instead of joystick sometimes sticks in a direction briefly
Game often tries to switch back to mouse / keyboard inputs, making a small custom cursor appear on-screen, and won't leave until you touch the touchscreen and then press a button again. Mostly just a very minor inconvenience.
Works OOTB
The game is running smootly with no tinkering needed with Proton 7.0-2. Even the video before the title worked!

Borderless full-screen did not work correctly. Workaround: use the "real" full-screen mode
The game works near perfect. Except the title FMV did not play correctly (Media Foundation issue?)
Proton-7.0rc6-GE-1
can't play with high refresh rate and vsync on
