Works well enough in single player mode. Wouldn't recommend for LAN or online multiplayer
Minor audio popping for a few minutes after boot. Seems to clear up after that.
Significant stuttering after a period of play that doesn't happen in Windows. Issue is worse in Multiplayer.
The poor performance/stuttering issue steadily gets worse, until the game eventually crashes.
Minor sync issues between host/clients. Sometimes player models will stop updating their position visually, though any actions they take are still honored (ie, you may be followed by invisible players, but their auras still affect you and they are still doing damage)
I've tried multiple versions of proton. Proton 8 was the earliest build that doesn't freeze on a black screen when initiating a multiplayer session. After cycling through a few variants (cachyos proton, different GE builds of proton, even a version of proton optimized for FFXIV since it includes easy to use NTSync patches), testing most of them on the 32bit, 64bit, and Legacy DX9 branch, I could find no solution to the stuttering and crashes.
I've played the game on Windows for a few hours and didn't experience any of these issues.

If you are playing it in handheld the text is very small. I played it on an external monitor in desktop mode.
I would have to restart the game every 2 hours or so beacuse I would get large Frame drops.
The game works out of the box but I used an external monitor at 1080p and used a keyboard and mouse to play.
Works fine out of the box.

The game doesn't really let you use a controller because of the steam deck resolution so you won't see the key mapped on the screen making it harder to play and really frustrating. Do not play it. I don't know why it says platinum when you can't obviously use the control right from the beginning and all the other layouts are just the same bad.

gamemoderun %command%
I just activate the game mode just in case.

Runs perfectly with no frame drops on max settings. Use Proton GE and run in Borderless windowed, vsync off.
Very very occasional frame drops if I have a video playing on another monitor.

As another user mentioned, the Windows version was/is significantly better. After an hour or so of playing, Id get random freezes for a second or two, and rotating the camera would also cause hiccups.
No crashing but several stutters that I couldnt reproduce, they just happen.
I saw many people say the game is running great, so I wanted to set up my profile and share my experience. The game has random freezing/hitching which the game continues "playing" while you're stuck on a frame. If playing Hardcore, this could be the end of your character if you're getting attacked during this. I must say it's not constant. My 5hrs of playing yesterday I had maybe 3-4 quick freezes. IT DOES, however, freeze up when rotating the camera almost every time. I noticed rotating the camera slowly prevented it, but if you whip the camera around quickly, it'll freeze for a second.

Used both proton experimental and GE and got no problems with any. Just install and play ;)
gamemoderun %command%

No issues whatsover.

The windows version is just significantly smoother. I can't understand, how this game got a Plat rating.
LD_PRELOAD="" %COMMAND%
Windows version sounds more 'in-the-action' and bassier.
freezing frames, especially when turning the camera and the longer the session goes
Crashes after four hours.
The startup parameter is to disable the steam recording library, which is bugged at the time of this writing. Disabling it through steam settings won't prevent the faulty library from loading and causing major suttering issues after 10-20 minutes of gametime, which gets worse the longer you play. Even with that lib disabled, the game still suffers from significant performance issues and occasional audio crackling.

Select 'use controller'. Decrease the UI size to see the whole thing.

Huge amounts of stutter during busy fights

Unable to set up controls. Developer controls and first two community layouts are borked too.
Unable to play this game. The Controls on Steam Deck are totally borked. Even the Developer layout did not work.

gamemoderun %command%
Works

The official control scheme from the publisher has some issues with button prompts not showing in the Steam Deck OLED's native resolution. Mouse cursor also doesn't show. Changing to Gamepad with Joystick Trackpad and enabling "non Steam Controller" in the in-game options, fixed most of it.
I then edited the controller layout even further. Turned Left Trigger into a layer swap, to add more abilities to the face buttons while LT is held down (kind of like the Final Fantasy 14 controller layout).
The game is perfectly playable if you tinker with the control layout.
After a few hours playing, the game starts having stutters here and there. Fixed by rebooting the game.
It's a great game that plays well, once you adjust your controller layout.

Абсолютно никаких проблем, великолепная производительность.

I had a lot of FPS drops using the default Proton. Switching the ProtonGE fixed all my issues.

I was getting crazy FPS drops when a lot was happening using Proton Experimental, 9, 8 and 7. Switched to the GE version of Proton and now everything is working great.

lore text and item descrptions are quite small but readable.
After setting up the community layout and chosing "Enable non-steam gamepad" in the game settings, it runs and looks great! All graphic settings are maxed out, Steam Deck is limited to 45 Hz. After several hours of playing, the game can start to stutter. Just restart it and everything is fine again. Can really recommend it on the Steam Deck!

Game didn't started using Steam/Proton defaults. Had to choose Proton 9 to get everything up and running.

You can't see the mouse cursor and the icons for abilities, this deeply affects your gameplay on steam deck.
enable the trackpad as mouse
Can't see the curson nor the icons for each ability
Don't buy if your main device is steam deck, or you're planning to buy on steam deck. I tried many solutions online, but it only further bricked the UI.

did not correctly detect screen size and refresh rate, had to manually set.
Game does not start on hyprland, could be a wayland issue, as starts up under cinnamin

If you like ARPGs, you will love this one. (No subscription bs, no microtransactions and play at your own pace.)
mangohud %command%
No need to tinker stuffs just use proton experimental and press play. Frame times are smoother than windows.

40Hz
Raised UI Scale
The game should support steam input but it doesn't, and switching to XInput doesn't allow you to navigate any menu in a clear way. This is so bad i've uninstalled the game because it's clear that it doesn't support controller properly

Launch game with Directx 9 renderer.
Problems with launching and major graphical glitches with default launch options.

It's being working great, biggest problem I've seen was a white flash on the ground textures that appears from time to time, but it's so short and subtle that it might even just be a thunder.

Stuttering, but fixed by forcing 64bit at launch
I didn't experience anything but teleporting caused my host to crash a few times

Initially you will not see controller prompts and your mouse cursor will be invisible.
- In the game settings, enable "Enable non-steam gamepad"
- Select any controller layout other than the "Official" one
- You might have to move the UI scale slider around a bit and/or restart the game
You should now see the controller bottom prompts on the ability bar, as well as your mouse cursor.
All good after doing some minor fixes for controllers, as described in the report.

Really nice multiplayer it is peer-to-peer so bear that in mind
Runs really good is a little CPU demanding

It's a maybe for me. I can live without moving the camera, but the game could be better.
gamemoderun %command%
The game will very frequently stutter when moving the camera, I've tried all sorts of things like changing the keybind for movign the camera, using gamemoderun, switching to other proton versions and changing graphics settings, but the problem persists.
I think the game is more than playable on a fixed perspective, but this is a major issue.
Game crashed 3 times on longer play sessions (I estimate roughly >2 hours) which for a full playthrough doesn't sound so bad, but when you restart all the enemies you killed and dungeons you explored reset, so it's pretty annoying.
One of the crashes happened after warping a couple of times, the loading screen was glitched with a checkerboard pattern of pink.
So far I've managed to circunvent crashes by restarting the game after more than an hour of playing.
Made a new character and played through the base game and did 2/3 skeleton key dungeons.
Using GNOME 47.1 (xorg), and stopped using gamemoderun after no significant improvement to performance and stability.
With the older proton, the x64 variant plays perfectly. With the current version, it hangs or even freezes the system at a random moment.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=0 %command%

Overall, bugs are minor, but I would recommend using the x64 version for best experience.
gamemoderun %command%
Occasional audio crackle.
Stuttering on default x32 version, switch to x64 and it's gone.
Sometimes the screen would be black on X11, Wayland had no problems with it.

I've played this one Windows and it's identical, I like the Diablo-like gameplay and is a game I freqently play.
When starting, it will stop responding. I need to always tell it to "Wait"
