Runs decently. Though I just play the campaigns and some skirmishes with AI, didn't notice any slowdowns or such. You can install and run gamemode and vkBasalt if you wish, they don't tax your system and gives good results.

Work as intented with gamemode and vkbasalt enabled (optional but good options).
EA app sometimes give an error and close like it's gonna mess your save, but for now nothing happened.
Working great through Proton. Although it uses Punkbuster didn't have any issues.
Not need to instal or config Protontricks, it's already bundled in Proton-GE; Using gamemode helps if your PC is a bit weak and vkBasalt is great for image quality.

Online experience just as expected. Game works great.
Some launch options can be skipped if you want ( -vulkan and -nogammaramp to name, depends of hardware and preference), but the experience is just fine. Gamemode and vkbasalt helps with performance and image quality with no noticeable impact, so consider installing both (look for them in your distro repos).

Vkbasalt and gamemode are optional, but both helps with image quality and performance. No issues so far in my linux box ;)

Some stuttering at start but i think it's due shaders being loaded; after a couple of minutes the game ran smoothly.
Just like Verdun or Tannenberg, works great at high settings on everything. Gamemode and vkBasalt are optional, but help without tax your system, so I recommend using both.

I just play in borderless window for convenience, but tested with fullscreen and had no problems; some maps crashed the game on loading, but switching to DX12 in game options resolved the issue for me; I don't have Intel or Nvidia hw on my rig, so i can't tell if thats somewhat related. Gamemode and vkBasalt are optional, but they help with stability and beaulty ;)
After add launch option described the 2K launcher had been bypassed and the game loaded just fine.

2K launcher is a mess; This launch option disable it and then all work fine.
Actually the original solution doesn't include the gamemoderun ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 part in the launch option; this can be safely deleted if you don't use these tools. Just took me some time to realize I could add my own options lol
Surprisingly works without any tinkering. Just install and play. ;)

Just works OoTB. Vkbasalt and gamemode are not mandatory to play this one, but they doesn't tax your system and enhances your gameplay, so it's up to personal preference.

Use this protontricks command on your terminal and the black screen issue will be resolved "protontricks 56400 d3dx9" (without the quotes)
