Runs perfect
Played the whole game without issue.
Constant lag spikes, and my GPU working at 100%. Even at the lowest graphics options, or DLSS. Don't know if it's a game issue or a linux issue

Runs great OOTB
Native controller input didn't have any deadzone so the axes would drift constantly. Enabling steam input fixed the issue.
Runs like it should, without all the Windows bloatcrap !

180 FPS locked, all settings at max, no frame drops

OOTB, works
All settings max, 2560x1440@170. I tried FSR, but it causes noticeable moire patterns on clothing up close and runs just as smooth without frame-gen on my system. That has nothing to do with Proton, it's an OOTB experience.

Except for the occasional FPS drops, its good, and since its a story-rich walking simulator, the FPS drop doesn't affect gameplay
Sometimes, when changing areas the FPS might drop, which stabilazes and gets back to nromal, probably because NVIDIA drivers are shitty
Later into the game the loading screens would get longer and it crashed me once during one of them
Works fine
Played through the entire game without any issues.

Completed a full playthrough without any issues, works out of the box
I played current update 1.5. The performance was good through the entire game, I did notice some minimal traversal stutter in the later half of the game.

Game always showing on top, so I can't Alt-Tab.
Few shuttering

but first after reaching the Alliance
freezes/crashes sometimes after reaching the Alliance
I like the game, the aesthetics are great and the first 2/3 of the game is well and good. The most (technical) problems begin, when you decide to explore the Alliance at a specific point in the game. THEN the game will crash at certain points. Prepare to cry. It gets a bit better if you downgrade the graphic settings, but it doesn't go away forever. BUT, Windows users are experiencing this behaviour as well !!!

Stuttering, random freezes

Sometimes controller not detected.
Some FPS drops with time. After restart worked fine again

Rock solid
Played the entire game in two separate sittings, it ran absolutely flawlessly.

Offers no graphics settings on Steam Deck, but is tuned to run at 30-40fps. Recommend locking at 30 for consistency. It's a bit blurry as usual for Unreal Engine games, but still very playable.

Great game - everything worked without any adjustments. The game itself sometimes has stutters, but these are also present under Windows 11. Graphics settings were set to epic, 144 Hz with 2K resolution was no problem.

I managed to finish the game, but honestly, I'm not sure if most players would endure such a thing with so many stutters and low FPS.
No matter it is on my HDD or SSD the game stutters like a hell. There were many freezes and the whole gameplay was a stuttery mess. The FPS wasn't stable as well, there were places with low FPS, there were ones with high... No crashes though
From what I see from other reports, some people haven't encountered issues with the game. So, the problem might be on my end.

Working great
Some short freezes during game
Game is working fine, even if my GPU card is lower than the recommended one - with "Medium" graphic quality. There were some small freezes, especially with the latest game update.
I was also able to use my XBox 360 controller without any issue.
No graphics settings for deck - looks like it forces deck profile from devs. 30-40 fps overall

Works perfectly out of the box
Very solid performance, glad they fixed it since the demo. Works like a charm and it's gorgeous!

Put the deck in 30 fps mode, by default it ranges between 30-4x fps
All the bugs in demo versions are polished, it works perfectly now ^^

On my hardware game runs perfect, but I have enabled FSR with quality option. Rest of graphics parameters I set up tu epic on resolution 2560x1440.

Some slight screen tearing.

Halfway through playingm, when not holding a tool the field of view would be restricted, like if viewing a object
Some stuttering.
Was overall fine, some issues likely due to being a demo
FPS is mangeable in regular gameplay (ie. working around, interacting with object) 90fps max and dip to as lows 50 when looking around. See a drastic decrease in fps (~15fps) when character is pulling out the map, looking at the pictures.
Changing the settings in anyway didn't affect the performance at all.
Hopefully they fixed the FPS degradation, otherwise it would be fun and interetsing game.
Demo doesn't appear to be optimized in any way shape or form. Performance is dreadful with GPU pegged at 99-100% all the time.
Text is very small, but serviceable.
I got a whopping 3 FPS max. Doesn't matter which graphical preset either. 3 FPS, no more.
The demo is pretty much unplayable due to a lack of optimization. It runs at a mere 3 FPS no matter what settings I change. I seriously hope that this is not indicative of the final version.

Doesn't launch on Proton Experimental. Launches on Proton GE. Main menu has good performance, but ingame performance is very poor.

It's basically unplayable.
"Cutscenes" play out in single-digit FPS. Otherwise the FPS is constantly all over the place and whatever I do it never goes above 60.
Tried with experimental Proton as well - no difference.

menu background is not rendered correctly without ge

Text was small with not way to enlarge it.
Low framerate, sluggish control response.
