Probably the same as on Windows if not better because I didn't had a single f*cking system update interputing my game :)
Crashed too frequently on ChimeraOS, no issue on the SteamDeck however
Disable SteamInput in the settings of the game to enable more than 4 controllers
Tried different Proton and launch optiony but the game just don't starts. It keeps crashing just after the steam logo appears.
Nobody would know I am running a Free and Open Source Operating System to play this game. They wouldn't even know what it means.
It's like playing the game and having fun, no Microsoft bullshit or third-party crappy launcher it's just install, launch and play.
After an update (January) I've finally been able to finish the first mission without any crash.

Funny game with local co-op working flawlessly on my machine !
If not on ChimeraOS you will have a perfect experience. On ChimeraOS you will have to switch to Desktop to launch the game...
Had to start the game from Desktop Mode, starting it from gaming mode create a DirectX error on my machine
Except for one crash (PC completely restarted) the game runs flawlessly. When moving fast some ghosting appear in the edge of the gatlings
Ghosting on the edges of the weapon when moving fast, barely visible
Crashed once in 10 hours
Had to lower graphics because it is quite ressource intensive. Don't know if it's a lack of optimization or if it's a Proton related issue.
Surprisingly quite demanding
Ghosting around Kena when moving the mouse fast, quite noticeable
Seems that the Steam version is fine... wish I wasn't DRM alergic and bought it there instead of GoG
Always crash at the same spot after ~10 minutes of gameplay
Without Proton compatibility forced one controller controlls two player
Enable proton and it will work flawlessly
Except graphics issue related to hair or fur the game runs well. Still have some flackyness in the textures
Hairs looked quite bad also some textures are a bit buggy but I still enjoyed my playtime
Audio stuttering on modern Proton versions even ProtonGE, seems fine on Proton 7.0.6
Good puzzle game on good Free and Open Source OS
Works great without tickering, however performance aren't optimal, maybe due because the game is in early access
Works without issue with 2 player on local co-op, super funny to play on the TV using ChimeraOS
Am I on Windows ? The only downside was my failure attempt to install a 21/9 screenratio mod to not burn my QD-OLED display...
It works and your friends won't notice your a weirdo avoiding spyware OS and Microsoft shitty products.
Don't do drugs ! It's not as funny as this really funny game, you'll enjoy playing it on a Free OS don't worry.
I had a few crash at first, I was hosting the game and during the prologue my mates were disconnected saying host quit. We restarted the game I hosted again and was fine for a couple minutes until my game crashed (disconnecting everyone), the it has been flawless for 2 hours. Not sure if Linux and Proton is the issue here.
Like on Windows but without all the Microsoft spyware. Controller wasn't working as intended but I quickly managed to get it works.
Had to use community layout and editing it
As Early Access it's very playable on my machine. I hope it will get better with future update until first release.
Some minoir vertical line flickering on moving objects like cauldrons
Steam cloud is NOT working but no issue with local saves
Game is playable but unfortunately it has massive slowdown when selecting a row or using objects quite often. However I've seen people complaining about this on Windows too. Hope it will be fixed for 1.0
It's not the final version, early access is probably also a bit buggy on Windows and SteamCloud not working is independant from GNU/Linux or Proton, devs deactivated becasue of major bugs when using it.
It works like a charm, using an Xbox Series and a PlayStation DualSense controllers without any issue.
Game asks for hardware (Speaker, TV, headset). I've selected Speaker (Samsung HW-Q930B) but was enable to enable 3D Sound. However I can confirm that it was using Surround technologies during gameplay and the immersion was awesome.
After 1h30 of playing, the game started to stutter and after a few minute the PC reboot but may be unralted to Proton and GNU/Linux.
Works like it should, and well optimized to be honest.
PROTON_USE_WINE3D=1 %command%
The game didn't launch without the option mentionned above. I always got a DirectX11 error message about resolution.
Cap the Deck to 45 FPS and TDP to 13W with the game settings set to medium
The game is pretty heavy to run on the Deck
Does it run better than Windows ? I'm not sure I don't run this shitty spyware OS anymore and that game is awesome to play !
Excellent, looks like it's native.
