When using the default Proton Hotfix, the game will not allow me to use native resolution (5120x1440). Maxes out at 3440x1440.
Forcing it to Proton 9.0-4 resolved this.

fps was capped to 60 with proton 9, switching to proton 8 fixed the issue
Works flawlessly out of the box
Personally, didn't like the trackpad/mouse control system. This game is much better on a console where the select mechanics are optimized.
Amazing game, works as intended flawlessly

40fps Limit (OLED) 4W Thermal Design Power (TDP)
Not really a downside but you need to press STEAM BUTTON + X to open the keyboard
The game was incredibly slow (~1 FPS) the first time I successfully launched it. It didn't even launch the first two times. However, I retried it and it worked like a charm.

Works pretty well
Mouse pointer trails a bit
Native version works great out of the box.

gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 --steam --fullscreen -- %command%
Played on wayland with scaling, which is why I'm using gamescope.
scrolling did not work as intended, normaly you would have to scroll 1 'click' to change view. This was not the case, I had to scroll a lot for the view to change

When the game launch you have to click on the icon "start" (looks like a triangle)

If you played Inscryption on a Windows machine before, you have to force Proton to make the saves work
The game looks absolutely gorgeous on the OLED screen!

I do not like the fact that it MUST use trackpad as the mouse to play this game. Other than that, this game is great.

Fantastic game, works beautifully on Steam Deck. I didn't have any issues reading any of the text. A better controller layout would be nice.
In relation to my comment about the controller layout, it was totally playable without peripherals on the deck, the controls are just not the same as on console. You do have to open the virtual keyboard yourself (Steam button + X!) if you don't have a peripheral one, but its not often and it's not a big issue.

Runs perfectly OOTB
No problems. Mods via r2modman also work.

I have a dual gpu system(AMD APU + 6600xt) and had problems using my DGPU through DRI_PRIME=1. Fixed it by forcing the game to run on zink.
MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
After enabling zink game ran perfectly.
Runs flawlessly under Linux. The developers did a great job porting it. :)

runs perfectly

BeplnEx+few mods
At the very end of the game, fps dropped to like 5 at the start of a fight, restored back to 60 halfway thru
BeplnEx and mods sometimes crash the game.

Some Glitches by changing resolution of windowed mode, maybe due to me using a tiling WM
Too Much GPU utilization for no reason using Proton with Vulkan (Prospector Fight for example)

The inability to switch tabs without freezing the game makes it very inconvenient to use
Alt+Tab hangs the game
Limit to 40hz
Steam Cloud sync doesn't work
Inscryption is definitely completely playable on Steam Deck, and by adjusting performance settings you should get ample battery life. But there are a couple issues that seem really strange to me.
First, there's no built-in controller support so the game uses a community layout that maps the buttons to mouse and keyboard controls. It works fine for the most part, but this game is also on console, so I don't see why it doesn't have native controller support on Steam. I haven't played a ton so far but I don't see anything that needs to be done with the mouse, and I think it would be a lot smoother on Deck with native controls.
Second, Steam Cloud saves don't work, at least not if you try to sync from Steam Deck to Windows. I saw some suggested workarounds for this, but they didn't work for me.
Aside from the slight issues with other windows going all screwy (which quickly goes away after clicking said windows), it runs just fine.
Not with the game itself, but launching the game causes other windows to glitch out with rainbow-like artifacting.
Between the campaign and Kaycee's Mod, I only experienced once case of slowdown that may have been related to background progresses
Runs like native. No issues with default Proton version(s).
Has been absolutely perfect so far, no issues
Flawless on native
40hz and frame limit to 40
Hours of battery life (almost 4, with my settings), and perfect to play on the go.
The only things I noticed are already mentioned in Playable details
- Game shows keyboard shortcuts
- On-screen keyboard needs to be activated manually
