There's some slight FPS degradation while using the elevators or eliminating the huge piles of gunk.
The game is greedy both in power and resources. I would recommend to play it being plugged in.

Cap the Deck to 45 FPS and TDP to 13W with the game settings set to medium
The game is pretty heavy to run on the Deck

Played the GOG version.

The graphics preset should be set to ‘Medium’ for a good experience.
works flawless out of the box
Had to lock FPS to 30 to get a stable experience, still had stutters to the low 10s in some areas

Runs perfectly
Works perfectly fine

Finished game without issues
The elevator stutters are probably just hidden loading screens. Stable 120fps in 1440p

Runs just fine out of the box!
Not much to say here. It's a short game that should run fine without any real issues. It probably isn't he most optimized game ever, but it ran without too many issues on my hardware. There were a couple of scenes that brought the game closer to about 60fps than 100fps, so I dropped the overal graphics quality from "Ultra" to "High" and that was it.
Works perfectly out of the box
Some FPS drop in weird places like elevators.
Although I had some FPS drop when riding elevators it didn't affect the gameplay much.
Game worked great out of the box on steak deck, I had to mess around with the setting a bit to get a stable frame rate.
I did not try with regular proton but it would probably be fine without it. Running the game at high setting and locked at 30 FPS seems like the best way to go on the Steam Deck. It would run great on a beefier desktop set up, no real issues or tinkering needed other than donwing the preset graphics and locking to 30 fps.
Works out of the box with no tinkering
