The game freeze when i try to create or join a match
Launcher: Heroic Games Launcher
Click and play experience
i had 0 issues whatsoever
Alt + Tab closes the game
This bug has been around for years and no proton version solved it
If your pc is close to the minimum requirements for the game, you might encounter a few problems
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 %command%
Audio becomes weird right after a stutter
The game sttutters for a few seconds ramdomly
The game totally freezes or closes after 3-4 hours of gameplay
Random fps drops during loading phases we're frequent, and sometimes the game crashes, but I believe those problems are only found on weaker pcs
gamemoderun gamescope -h 504 -H 1080 -F fsr -f -- %command%
I only used gamescope and fsr because my laptop is too weak to run the game normally anyway, I played the main story + all DLCs without issue
Not a linux thing, but Ubisoft removed Desmond's Journey and the Lost Archive DLC by accident when removing multiplayer. Not only they didn't bother correcting that, but they also removed the option to buy the DLC. To fix that, just follow this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3208375262 If you don't own the DLC, follow this one right after that: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3422009787 For some reason after fixing these the game freezes often in the intro movies, but it can be fixed by removing: UBI_LOGO.bik, UBI_LOGO.bik_bak in game_root/Videos/ warning_disclaimer.bik, warning_disclaimer.bik_bak in game_root/Videos/en
Keep in mind that the game will still work if you launch it without doing anything, but you will be missing a few side quests and achievements. Also steam still thinks the game is running after you close it game because ubisoft connect will still be active, so make sure you close it manually on steam
gamemoderun gamescope -w 1024 -h 576 -W 1920 -H 1080 -F fsr -f -r 60 -- %command%
The game runs with pretty low fps even though my PC could've have more on the lowest settings
Ubi connect makes me use my password every time I start the game. Also when I have to use the launcher itself it runs really slowly
Its basically a click play experience
The animation showing the ubisoft logo when starting the game has audio crackling, I haven't seen it in the actual game though
Aside from the audio thing I haven't noticed a single problem. Ubisoft connect works fine as well
Fortunately Ubisoft Connect wasn't a problem for this game
The only problems i had involves the fact that this game has a bad PC port
For some reason, when i started episodes 2, 3 and 4 for the first time, the fps drops to 10 or something like that, i just restarted the game and everything looked normal again
i didn't have any major problems, definetly playable
Crashes happened like 2 times, the lost progress is minimal or doesen't exist
Occasional crashes happens once in like 5 hours, nothing to worry about
gamemoderun PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%
Installed d3dx9 d3dx9_43 d3dcompiler_43 via protontricks
Without protontricks and the launch options the game crashes on launch. At least for me Proton GE wasn't needed
This game should be rated as platnum
It was a completly flawless experience
I ran into some bugs using Proton 9, but once i switched to proton 8 the game ran flawlessly
Copy and paste the first game's save files into the prefix of this game and you're good to go
The game don't detect the first game's saves even with my telltale account logged in, i had to copy and paste the save into the prefix of this game to import it
The game itself was an out of the box experience, way more stable than the first
it crashed once, right on one of the final cutscenes, it's kindof immertion breaking but it's okay
Almost out of the box experience, definitively playabe
Click and play experience
Had a kinda high input lag but the same happend with my friends on windows, so it's not a linux issue
I managed to beat the game in coop with no issues
99.999999% perfect
once in like 3 hours the game freezes for 2 or 3 seconds and then everything's back to normal, nothing to worry about
copied FallGuys_client_game_Data/Plugins/x86_64/easyanticheat_x64.so to EasyAntiCheat/easyanticheat_x64.so, added TargetApplicationPath=FallGuys_client_game.exe in FallGuys_client.ini
The game doesn't open with EOS overlay enabled so i couldn't invite friends to play with me, other than that works really great enabling EasyAntiCheat support on heroic
The game itself runs perfectly
the game crashes frequently unless i close everything in my desktop but the game itself, its likely because of my low ram though
i was able to play with friends flawlessly
i've beaten story mode with no issues, the game is probabely using more ram than normal but it wont be a problem if you has 8 GB or more
It works perfectly
Importing beatmaps from lazer is a bit of a pain but the client itself works without issues
Simply out of the box
haven't tried the proton version though, but the native version works just fine
i've got this game for free on epic a while ago and it was worth the shot, 0 issues including online multiplayer
Works with no issues
I only played with Nintendo DS and GBA emulators until now, they run perfectly though
i don't know if this is a linux problem, but sometimes the auto save is corrupted when i start the game, manual saves are aways there though
no problems other than that save file issue
100% playable
Coop works flawlessly
No issues for me with this game
Almost no difference between Windows and Linux
in the final season parts where you have to kill walkers the mouse goes to my second monitor sometimes, even though it should be locked in
I've beaten all 5 games + DLC without much issue
Runs perfectly out of the box
I've beated the game without experience a single issue
The game crashed a single time during the entire playthrough
Aside from that crash, i have experienced literally 0 issues
Ubisoft sucks
tried to put a most recent ubisoftconnect.exe intro the game's files
I only managed to install ubisoft connect with GE or Experimental, but after that the game just freezes on launch
