Worked great. Very occasional issues with the screen going black for a little bit but it was very rare and resolved itself quickly.

- Instalarlo (No ejecutar)

Runs like expected :)
Mouse input was kinda laggy, controller works just fine

IDK if is bc of hyprland but sometime when changing workspaces when clicking on the game mouse start to jump only stopping when change btw workspaces a few times

Ran with Living City and E3 Graphics mods which could use config files to customize settings
DLL files with their respective launch options 100% makes the game run better, but still couldn't get it locked at 60 FPS even at all low settings.
Unsupported
Even setting everything to medium with temporal SSAA and the graphical mod makes the game gorgeous with very minimal framerate drops.

MANGOHUD=1 %command% -disablepagefilecheck
Make sure to keep the Steam Overlay enabled to prevent a strange stuttering bug, which happens after playing a while (~30 minutes in my case).

If the steam deck is in offline mode the ubisoft launcher has issues logging in and starting the game.
Honestly I'm surprised this is only rated as Playable by Valve. I didn't have any issues with the game (besides having to deal with the annoying Ubisoft connect launcher). The game ran perfectly.

В даному випадку API VULKAN не приносить ніякої користі, через те що гра оптимізована через дупу
Не дивлячись на неповне навантаження на CPU i GPU, гра всеодно тормозить при водінні автомобіля на будь-яких налаштуваннях
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d11,dxgi=n,b" %command%
I installed dxvk which dramatically improved fps. Steps: 1: download the tar.gz file from the github 2:extract it 3:open the x64 folder 4:copy d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll 5:paste the files in the bin folder inside of your game folder 6: go to launch options for watch dogs in steam and put WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d11,dxgi=n,b" %command%
make sure to turn off widescreen letterbox in display settings
Fullscreen doesn't work initially. But if you switch to Borderless mode first, then Fullscreen, it works! This needs to be done every time the game is launched.

It was playable, especially if you lower the graphics to medium, and use proton experimental, atleast that worked for me.
I used the ubisoft connect version here: https://lutris.net/games/watch-dogs/
It runs worse than it would on windows, but using proton experimental eased the frame drops and made it more consistent, it becomes worse during physics intense situations and when speeding in a vehicle. But this was with a mix of ultra/high settings, on mostly medium settings with ambient occlusion turned off and anti-aliasing on FXAA it was easier and combat ran smoothly, played one mission with no problems with the cutscene. It mostly lags on during the situations I mentioned earlier, on high/ultra settings on windows it ran far smoother.
If your hardware is better than mine, the game might run pretty smoothly on high settings and maybe even ultra.

MSAA is broken, causes texture glitches
Windowed forces top-level

Enabled the Virtual Desktop for this game via protontricks 243470 winecfg
There weren't enough players online for some multiplayer modes, but 1v1 hacking/tailing worked fawlessly
Story/Multiplayer/Controller all worked fawlessly, except for cars beeping when entered in, but that might be an issue with the PC port as a whole

gamemoderun gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -f %command%
Game had issue capturing mouse input properly. Fixed with gamescope.
Game refuses to launch if not using proton versions lower than 9, such as 8 or GE-Proton8

good

Playable - disappointed I can't play at a locked 60 FPS when I can with Sleeping Dogs at max settings, which only came out 2 years before
Required system restart to work; would ask for a non-existent key during first time boot-up and crash after second+ attempts
I like the toggle to walk, but it's only for keyboard. Changed left thumb stick to WASD and the upper left back button to ALT.
Only when resolution is set to low
Game glitches when there's a pop-up, like a mission update, where it will repeat the sound multiple times and stops when the pop-up regularly disappears
Usuable item flash is partially checkerboarded; fits well as it looks like an item hacked into the game
Even at minimum settings, game still can't lock at 60 FPS while driving
Wasn't able to match make
Unsupported
You can set everything to it's lowest, but looks pretty ugly during the daytime, but doesn't usually go below 55 FPS even while driving. Besides texture quality and anti-aliasing, you can surprisingly chug through max settings when you sync every two frames, but the input delay is very noticeable. Happy medium is the auto detect which is everything low, medium level of detail, VSync on, and one bump of the AA with FXAA for an average 45 FPS.

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1
No issues at all

Could not see anything, everything was dark, so I went into Display and changed the antialiasing to MSAA2X and could see
gamemoderun PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
All in all the game plays reasonably well, no issues with aiming, sound or video glitching. Reasonable experience on this ancient machine.

Steam overlay will need to be disabled for this game otherwise it will not launch.
This isn't Linux specific, but the game doesn't expose a lot of its configuration options. In particular, if you're playing with mouse+keyboard, you will probably want to fix the mouse input; see https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=264128099

gamemoderun MANGOHUD=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
It was running well on Kubuntu and when I switched to Arch, it wouldn't start at all. I've tried many methods I'd seen online to try to fix it but to no avail, and I think I fixed it by accident, while fixing FF7, for which I just had to install vulkan-radeon and lib32-vulkan-radeon. I'm still not sure what happened but I hope that that helps others who also have issues with that game!
You really have to tinker under Arch, but on debian-based distros it works out of the box.

Mouse acceleration in the menu that cannot be turned off.
You need to enable the steam overlay globally so you can disable it in the game alone. Otherwise it will freeze permenantly on startup.

Enable Steam Overlay in Global settings + Disable steam overlay for the game itself
I did the same as -> Slnecnik in the post below, only difference is I did not need to switch to Proton-GE and thus used the standard Steam version.

I had to enable Steam overlay in Global Settigns and Disable Steam overlay in game settings! I wasn't able to start the game because it got stuck 2 seconds after start as others have mentioned. Asked on reddit. This is the solution that works for me.

Installs, launches, intro animation for a second or two, then a permanent lock up.
gamemoderun PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% -dx11
I've tried using Lutris to run the Ubisoft Connect version of Watch Dogs, but it started installing Steam (I already have Steam), so I cancelled out of it.
I attempted a few different fixes that were listed here, however after trying basically all of them, they seem outdated. I saw that on SteamDB that the game was updated about 27 days ago, so it's possible that the update broke it.
I don't really know what's breaking it, so I can't provide any insight, just that it's not working for me whatsoever.
Was able to install uplay connect. Game freezes on startup permenantly without a crash.

I was only able to run the game after disabling the Steam overlay in the game's properties.
The game always crashed in the opening video, being unplayable (didn't get to the game menu). After testing several versions of proton, the game worked normally when disabling the Steam overlay (Painel da Steam dentro do jogo, em português) in the properties.

Had to install GE-Proton8-9 for the game to open, once installed game is stable at 60fps

Ubisoft Connect will not be able to connect to Ubisoft servers by default
In order to fix Ubisoft Connect refusing to connect to Ubisoft servers enter the following command into your terminal: sudo bash -c 'echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_mtu_probing'

The game doesn't "crash", but it closes itself immediately upon opening.
gamemoderun %command% -dx11
Try launching with an older version of Proton.

Game does not launch
It simply freezes at the startup screen with no error or crash, when restarting the game it does the same thing repeatedly.

Ubisoft sucks
tried to put a most recent ubisoftconnect.exe intro the game's files
I only managed to install ubisoft connect with GE or Experimental, but after that the game just freezes on launch

Thanks to the most recent Proton(-GE) release, the UbisoftConnect problem is (currently) gone. Game and launcher now work fine again out of the box.

runs fine tbh. ive been enjoying my time playing it. i set everything to low for max performance. 45-60 fps. Sometimes i cap fps to 50.
some highlighted items get glitchy highlight textures.
RAM usage slowly increases over time with performance dropping as well. usually takes like 3 hours for it to be noticeble.
i was succesfully able to fail multiple times online.

There's a few places where there is Z-Fighting that don't exist running natively on Windows. namely the up arrow texture on boom barriers, though it does happen in other places.
Game runs at 30-60 on 15 Watts, perfectly playable, but embarrasing giving it's a nearly decade old game.
Watch_Dogs online kind of sucks to be honest, espically on PC. It runs perfectly fine though, no real issues.
The game has been updated to use Ubisoft Connect by default, you don't need to jump through hoops to get Ubisoft Connect installed. GE-Proton gives a bit more of a performance boost, attaining 60 in some places it didn't before.
