It just works
Noticed 0 issues from start to finish

Played it from start to finish without any issues.
At the end of the game I was seeing some misplaced depth of field ( blur ) on some scenes. Only a handful, nothing that would hinder the game enjoyability.

Wouldn't launch but switching to proton 5.13-6 fixed it

Ran absolutely perfectly, without issues any seen, without having to tinker with anything. Installed and played

Works perfectly out of the box (played the whole game)
Didn't notice any stuttering

Works well
Make sure the resolution is right (1280x800) and you're in fullscreen when you first boot the game. You can use high textures.

Pretty much perfect
Besides some slight stuttering when loading into new scenes the game runs perfectly.

Blocky shadows in some scenes.
Occasionally crashed at certain parts using other versions of Proton.
I did not experience crashing using Proton 5.13-6

Native controller support seems to be broken with this version of Proton on this game, however the issue is resolved by using Steam's controller settings to override the default.
The game freezes and crashes at a specific point in episode 1 if running Proton Experimental. An older version of Proton can be used to work around this. 5.13.6 has worked for me.

Minor stuttering every now and again. Not too distracting.

Blocky shadows
Savegame is being deleted if you change the Proton version
Crashes at 4th chapter of Episode 1.

Save deleted at the beginning of Chapter 3 (as soon as you talk to the group) when using any version of Proton otter then 5.13-6.
Crashed when not using Proton 5.13-6
Runs well for the most part. Feels like there's a delay when the game transitions between scenes, not sure if that's due to the older verion of Proton or just the game itself. Otherwise I'm enjoying the game so far!
Save game is lost sometimes after crashes
Guaranteed crashes at certain points.
Shadows were blocky and not smooth
Constant stuttering
Had to use proton 5.13-6 otherwise I was unable to finish episode 2 without it crashing
Downside is shadows look messed up but using proton 4.11-13 can fix that
Every time a video played or slight action started the game would stutter every few seconds even with the frame rate locked at 30 and 40 fps
In the end it's only just playable if you can handle the issues you'll enjoy the game
Refresh rate to 40 Hz.
The shadows aren't being displayed correctly (you see dark squares instead of proper shadows).
Cloud saves seem to be disabled. Switching to another Proton version makes you lose your progress. Be sure to back up your save files. The path is: /steamapps/compatdata/330830/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Telltale Games/Tales from the Borderlands.
As reported previously the game crashed in the beginning of chapter 4 of episode 1 using the Proton version suggested by Steam. That's why I changed it to 5.13, and I was able to finish the game without a problem.
While switching to an older Proton version is trivial, it can result in losing your progress unless you make a backup beforehand. Hence the current Playable rating is misguiding.

The game has microstutter every 5 seconds or so. Very distracting, however if that sounds like something you can tolerate, then go for it
Depending on how you feel about stuttering, a game having a microstutter every 5 seconds may not be deal breaking. For me it is/
Bad
Some shadows are glitching but nothing game breaking
While switching from the latest Proton to Proton 5.13-6 to fix the crash, the game save moved, I needed to go to desktop mode and move my current save to the other empty save folder (I used FSearch to find both game folders)
The game crashes at the 4th chapter of the first episode with the latest Proton 7.0-3, I needed to switch to Proton version 5.13-6 to fix it
To avoid the game save folder issue, launch the game for the first time with Proton 5.13-6 and don't change back to any other version (otherwise you'll have to restart the story or move the save in desktop mode).
Shadows appear boxy when run with Proton versions newer than 4.11-3
Crash at Chapter 1 when meeting the crew. Switched proton version to 5.13-6 as it was mentioned here and this fixed it.
Fixed previous crash at the beginning of episode 1 part 3 by switching proton version to 5.13-6
Other than the one crash spot it's a great game that runs flawlessly
Crashed at a specific location at the beginning of part 3 of Chapter 1 when walking to meet crew with Rhys
I tried it with the latest ProtonGE6-16 and Proton6.3-6, but the game crash on the same point as mentioned.
I can acknowledge that the game crash when I trying to join Fiona, Vaugn, and Sasha.

On my configuration, at least, would not be able to complete game.
Crashes when trying to join Fiona, Vaugn, and Sasha looking at the Hyperion station. Tried both Intel and NVIDIA drivers. Cannot complete game.
Works perfectly with Proton.

Runs perfectly fine from start to finish
Alt-tabbing just pauses the game, but the window stays in foreground. Switching to a different virtual desktop works, though.
Seems like the shadow "blocks" were introduced with Proton 5.0-4. Switching back to Proton 4.11-13 from 5.0-4 fixed the artifacts. Runs perfect now.
Character shadows appear "blocky". Don't think that happens in the native.

Aside from the occasional weird graphical effect, simply works.

Was able to play the game from start to finish without any issue. The performance was also good.

Runs well, played from begin to end without major issue. Gamepad mapping are not matching but this is still playable.

Works out of the box, FPS above 60, no crashes/glitches noticed.

Worked out of the box. Completed chapter 1 so far, without any issue.

Flawless. No issues at all.

Seems to run fine with mouse and keyboard but DOES NOT detect that a controller is plugged in no matter what I try. Currently CAN NOT be played with a controller.

Only issue that I've encountered is that sometimes the textures wont load, but backing out to menu fixes it.

Perfect
