Fedora 41 - works like a charm using Proton 9.x

Screen tearing

Worked fine. Sligth frame drops on rare ocasions.
Sligth frame drops on rare ocasions. But honestly it was the same on Windows
I started a game on Windows and then continued on Linux via Steam Cloud. No issues except slight frame drops on rare ocasions, exactly as it is on Windows
For some reason, when i started episodes 2, 3 and 4 for the first time, the fps drops to 10 or something like that, i just restarted the game and everything looked normal again
i didn't have any major problems, definetly playable

Game will occasionly stutter when going to new locations/transitioning into new scenes. Launch option gets rid of most of it. Episode 5 was clear of this issue.

Stuttering when camera switches, fix read on
The camera stutters whenever a new scene is loaded (or being prepared). To fix this I've created a "dxvk.conf" file into the games main folder with the following content: "dxgi.syncInterval = 0". The camera stutter is completely gone, although the audio crackling still happens sometimes. Havent found a fix to it yet.

Lowered resolution, got Framerate to 30 and used FSR
It suttuter in every scene. The lower the tdp, the more it stutter. But it ALWAYS stutters
Playable if you can put up with the constant stuttering.
Stuttering for 2-3 seconds anytime the camera has to move to a new shot.
It honestly just depends if you can put up with the stuttering. It did stutter during some Quick Time Events, which was a pain; however it never actually prevented me from doing them.
Honestly I personally cannot play like this, but maybe you can.

Limited to 10/11w on a plane and lowered refresh/fps cap to 40
frame drops when changing cameras
Plays quite well, with the exception of stutters and slightly laggy mouse input
Feels like VSync is on
Loading new camera angles and scenes causes frequent stutters
Full play-through with mouse and keyboard
Cut-scenes and QTE sequences freeze with sound on. However, you won't miss any QTE or dialogue choice because everything pauses, so the game is still technically playable. The issue is severe in the 1st episode, but by the time I reached the 5th and final episode the problem went away almost entirely.
Add these options to the launcher's options : -windowed -noborder to enhance your experience
You'll encounter freezes and lags no matter what your specs are, it's just that the game is poorly optimized. Has to do with V-sync (can't be disabled from the game's options).
Freezes and lags
Random screen freezes that lasts about a second each. Since the intro of the game is basically just cutscenes with quick-time events it made it unplayable.
The random screen freezes are probably bugs, yeah.
turn off vsync and tune the fps... more stable than my xbox playthrough honestly

Works very well out of the box
- No issues playing with an Xbox 360 controller.
- Occasional mild stutter near scene transitions.

Som glitches in the game
It was not possible to play with my XBox One controller. Buttons were not mapped correctly and never got it to work
Works well enough but doesn't recognize DS4 controller
Game doesn't recognize DS4 contoller that's plugged into USB. Works well with keyboard and mouse.
Worked out of the box
The game won't even start

Perfect experience as it would be expected from a native game binary

Playable from start to finish.

Works out of the box. Smooth, stable, amazing.

Some stuttering but otherwise works great. Tested on 3440x1440 resolution

Runs well but does hit the CPU relatively hard with default graphics settings. Will probably run better with the settings on the lowest settings for now.

Runs, but requires graphics settings be turned WAY down and moderate, distracting screen tearing. Given specs, this is less than ideal. Will eventually retest with more powerful GPU and up-to-date drivers.

No issue encountered

seems to hit CPU hard but works great!
