Alt-tabbing may cause the game to silently crash.
Issues are not Linux related, it can occur on Windows as well.
It has a 30fps cap, so I recommend editing the .ini files to increase frame rate and disable intro videos.
Probably the first UE5 game that played smoothly this close to release on my setup. Just download and play, no tinkering needed. Fantastic game, btw. Enjoy!

Currently unplayable on Nvidia
Environment is missing textures on Nvidia cards. Seems to be related to a driver bug that was reported. Game's using raytracing by default. Here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8408#issuecomment-2610069931
PYROVEIL=1 %command%
A workaround was developed by HansKristian-Work that fixes the Nvidia driver bug:
- Clone and build https://github.com/HansKristian-Work/pyroveil by following the instructions on the github page.
- Copy the .json file included in the hacks folder to the game's install folder.
- Delete any proton cache files present (vkd3d-proton.cache and vkd3d-proton.cache.write) in the End/Binaries/Win64 directory.
- Add the launch options provided above and run the game.
The game is now rendering the environment textures as expected. I'm also experience some slight performance gains over native too.
(Update) Runs great out of the box with current Nvidia driver
Missing environment textures are now fixed with Nvidia driver 570.133.07. Excelent performance with no tinkering required.
