

It runs just as well as on windows. Has some slight freezes here and there, but it's the exact experience I had on WIndows.

FPS drops.
About 5 minutes into the match, based upon some sort of foilage density, I experience major FPS drops on Experimental.
On larger, wide open maps, typical with dense foliage, I will experience major frame drops on Proton Experimental. At present I've dropped graphics settings to low while maintaining 100% resolution scale. I have also disabled TAA.
Combined with graphics settings -- I switched to Proton 9.0-4. Thus far I've not see the 10fps / large frame rate drops as before.
Again, this only seems to appear when there's dense foliage or weird particle effects.

The game is really buggy since last updates, i've already tried many launch option and reinstall my graphic drivers unsuccessfully

If playing for prolonged period of time, may cause lag but not all the time.
Proton 9.0-4 did not allow me to open steam overlay so I switched to another version, experimental and the beta version works fine with the steam overlay. Besides that everything is flawless and a pleasure to play this game on Linux.

Occasional freezups while playing, This can happen in menus or in game. Fixed by double pressing the meta key to pull up another window
For the most part it runs great right out of the box, aside from a few freezups that might happen once or twice a day

If you want Reshade shaders be ready to switch to VkBasalt as Reshade is bugged for this game.

Works well out of the box.
I would tweak some of the settings to make it more enjoyble for your average Joe.

Installed ReShade through steamtinkerlaunch
Game used to not work due to ReShade (after a recent update ) but after reinstalling DBD and using GE-Proton10-1 it works perfectly fine now

Worked perfectly fine OOTB at 120fps very stable, but I decided to use ProtonGE anyway. Still stable and works perfectly.

The game still very playable it's when you have very extend play session it start to lag for me ( 4 - 5 hours )

The game runs out of the box
No need for changes, just install and play. Works normal and no problem changing screens on EndeavourOS

Worked ootb. Hopefully this issue gets patched or its some kind of poorly timed user error on my end. Steam launch command is for reshade

Had to switch to proton experimental (instead of the default 9.0-4) with the latest update (DBD 8.7.0), I was otherwise stuck before the main menu loading screen with a connection error reported by the game. Maybe other proton versions work as well, experimental is just the first one I tried

No way to even tell that it isn't running on Windows.

Worked perfectly out of the box Performance as expected.

I tabbed out and went away for a few mins, and when the power profile changed and the screen was dimmed the game couldn't be changed to fullscreen, and trying to do so made it unresponsive so I had to restart it.
I've only played this game for a couple hours or 3 on Linux, but it works perfectly fine with consistent 120 FPS

There are occasional freezes during the game, but my friend who uses Windows also has them, so i guess it's last update issue.
