I followed the instructions given by Hartmunt:

- Download wine-mono msi from https://github.com/redmcg/wine-mono/releases
- Start
protontricks -c 'wine64 uninstaller' 359320and remove all entries with the remove button. - Click the install button and select the downloaded msi - The change did not immediately show up for me. After restarting the wizard it showed up in the list.
- After this the launcher should start up. If the launcher crashes when clicking the button, start it again. The crashing seems non-deterministic.

Adding launch options is necessary on Windows sometimes, so this isn't strenuous by any means.
Launch Flags:Disable Esync
Had to disable Esync before the game would load. Adding PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% to the game's Launch Options fixed it.
