Playable but not fully lag-free
at about 30% render distance the game starts lagging if i starts to load new chunks
some said the would need a better cpu, but look at my specs, ive got 16 pysical cores running at 3,6 Ghz each one running 2 threads. My hard drive is a ssd m.2 with 1.8Gb/s write and 1.8Gb/s read. only my gpu leaks of performance, ive tryed nearly any command line argument to improve performance. no result or worse. custome proton builds might do better

fist splash works with 200-300 fps , next and any futher dropps to ~15fps
maybe its my setup, so ill setup a second installation soon and will add another contribution if anything notable changed
Works nicely even with raytraycing, got 48 fps on maximum settings, compared to windows with 56 fps same settings

without anything changed the game does not allow raytraycing or just dont detects everything correct, even thought it works in steady 60 fps on ultra settings, compared to 77 fps on windows on ultra settings without raytraycing

spiel lies sich nur dur ausprobieren verscheinere grafik einstellungen starten
durch das alter bedingt gibt es wohl einige unoptimierte stellen. dadurch ist bei 1920x1080 etwa mit 47fps bei meine hw zu rechnen
bei der auswahl verschiedener menüs kommt es zu abstürzen, im menü wie auch ingame

sometimes escaping game isnt properly possible, and in fullscreen at about 2/5 loading screens the game renderer stops publishing new frames, so ive tapped ESC, down(x6), "E", "T" to save and exit savely, be aware that you can still shoot people or throw grenades.
if the game is not aligned properly you might not be abled to escape it

add your proper dimensions to match your screen, ive calculated that i my gnome top bar takes about 32px so ive reduced the window by that
on this apu its running on windows at just the same as on linux. nothing changed. tested with about 500 monsters on map with animations, results in same behaviour than on windows. sometimes switching between windows doesnt update the window, wich resuts in a wierd picture of pars been updated and not. but looks normal after a few seconds.
For everyone who searches for a solution, run pw-metadata -n settings 0 clock.force-quantum 50
this will set a different buffer size accoring to a github comment. Fixed for me the sound issues, instant!

works but no tutorials are played ( chrash) , i think as m apu isnt fully supported its a matter of raw power...
SP-Session: Gut , MP-Session: mit leichten fehlern
ab und an wird durch dynamische auflösung die framerate stark gedrosselt für etwa 2-7 sekunden
gelegetlich stürtzt das spiel ab , etwa 1-2 mal die woche. aber wenn ein windows client mit in der session ist wird auch auf diesem das spiel geschlossen
unter gegebenen bedingungen ist die framerate zusammengebrochen ohne ersichtlichen grund, die latenz lag etwa zwischen 200 und 30 , was aber der framerate nicht abträglich war. erst das zusammenspiel mit anderen stellte klar das es wichtig ist den selben gateway zu nutzen um solchen lags möglichst fern zu bleiben
bei lags versucht man am besten einen anderen gateway, solange die grafikeinstellungen nichts an den fps ändern

Tinkering might not be necessary if you use Proton 7, but it felt like a little performance impact is present in the sync with frames, but nothing I could narrow down.
Wont pass the loading screen
tried multiple option mentioned before, in multiple combinations of versions of proton, or proton ge and proton-ge beta
tried with installing different dotnets, but nothing worked some didnt even launch, some launch and the audio starts plaing but the loading screen hangs until i quit, only proton-ge let me quit the game by pressing the stop in steam, cloasing normally wont work either.
lastly i repeated the procedure for the experimental version of the game with no difference
latest and experimental not passing initial loading screen
tried proton ge 7.0rc2-ge1 mentioned below, reseted prefix and tried experimental version, nothing new, not passing loading screen

DONT rename your launcher skse i launching skse_steam_boot.exe, so rename your skse_steam_boot.exe to something like skse_steam_boot.exe.bak and rename skse_loader.exe to skse_steam_boot.exe. all files found in rootdir of steam , reachable throught Library > Skyrim ^ (Right-click) > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Now Your be abled to launch with or without mods. Proton log is complaining about an wrong call of fork ...
after serious tries, im stuck at dotnet not up-to-date
ive tried many times and got never a consistent run. ive tried all common proton versions including GE, only one time i was able to play 20min and then a chrash. jumping between proton versions sometimes resolves this issues but now after 12h im giving up. maybe its flatpak maybe its dotnet, i cant tell. i used the patcher jar, tried manually installing dotnet 48,462,472,5 nothing stays consistent. but take a advice of me if your tinkering around and got enaught ram: mount -t tmpfs -o size=4G /your/path/to/compdata/<gameid eg 244850> this reduced my setup times between each reset to about 1-2min insted of 5min. if someone knows a version of this game that worked well with proton i would be glad if anyone could write a report for that.
changing options is like fighting a tank with an stick... nothing happens. just complaining about "no Direct3D device was found"
