To fix right-click losing focus you can run the game in a virtual desktop. Run protontricks 296490 winecfg
, go to the "Graphics" tab, and turn on the option that says "Emulate a virtual desktop". You should set the resolution to be whatever your monitors resolution is. This fixed the issue for me :)
Works great, especially once you fix the right-click focus issue

You should really try this game if you like Tower Defense
Work flawlessly by just picking a proton version, it runs as i can assume almost perfectly like native Windows

A instalação direta pela Steam não funcionou.
Right Clicking disables mouse input in-game, and requires alt-tabbing out of the game and back in order to make it work again
Worked fine, no issues detected.
Worked out of the Box with proton 7.0-2 (offered by steam) No difference to running under Windows, no problem with right mouse button (as others described)

Almost perfect
Right clicking makes the game stop receiving any input. Alt+tab fixes it.
It's almost perfect besides right clicking will make the input stop working. Alt+tab to fix.
Works great besides the right-clicking issue.
Right-clicking causes the game window to lose focus, had to leave fullscreen and re-enable fullscreen to fix it.
Works perfectly out of the box
with 100+ monsters on the map, fps goes down
Except obligatory re-runs every 2-3 maybe 4 games (about 100-500 rounds with monsters) there is no other issues.
After few games a whole game is slowing down. The solution is re-run.

Avoid Right-clicking, use Shift+click instead.
Right clicking disables input until the window loses and regains focus.

Avoid right clicking as much as possible.

If you're having the same issues that I did, you're going to get sick of it pretty quickly.
Slight crackling as soon as the first wave started
Could not use both mouse and keyboard at the same time. Either the mouse was usable, or the keyboard. The mouse input randomly broke repeatedly.
Slower than on Windows, despite my Linux PC having vastly superior specs than my Windows 10 PC

sometimes audio is distorted
Works perfectly out of the box.

Poor performance, audio crackling and game slowing down on longer runs kinda ruins the experience.
Menu music crackles, in game audio crackles when there is lot happening.
Game loses focus most of the time when you right click, both fullscreen and windowed. Focus issues are gone when windowed mode is set AND "Use custom pointer" option in settings is disabled.
Audio glitches when things get busy. Possibly a memory leak somewhere since game slows down on longer play sessions.

turned off the overlay in the game, to speed up performance

Works like a charm. The menu is slow sometimes but no bugs, crashes or anything else.

Working perfectly out of the box.

Changing a gems preferred target causes mouse to stop working until restart.

Runs just like it did on windows.

Working perfectly out of the box.

Runs fine but has what I presume to be a memory leak that causes lag in longer play sessions.

11/15 reports say "Platinum". Runs out of the box for me too. BTW, you can use "alt-tab" on Linux to switch between windowed and fullscreen. (Wine/Proton supports it)

on this apu its running on windows at just the same as on linux. nothing changed. tested with about 500 monsters on map with animations, results in same behaviour than on windows. sometimes switching between windows doesnt update the window, wich resuts in a wierd picture of pars been updated and not. but looks normal after a few seconds.

I felt no difference in performance compared to windows. Sound and Graphics seem to be the same.
