The game starts in window. You need to change after to fullscreen.
It seems my arcade stick was mapped for player 1 and 2. So, I decided turn off steam input and use native in-game pad support.
There is strange Windows bug. Even in Windows, this game could load gray screen after select the game. You need to delete your save before run. After, you can run flawless. It is also Windows bug.
I have to use the followed command:

ACC plays really nice. The real problem is the Logitech G923 support.
Needs to install kernel driver. The module new-lg4ff will provide what do you want, but it is not the main branch. You need JackeTUs version from g923 branch. DKMS instalation works very weel.
When I starts ACC, the pedals are switched, like clutch pedal is the acceletare pedal. It is messy. I give up, I will install Windows for full wheel support. I am sorry. I tried.

The tinkering report is only for NixOS users. It is not valid for more popular distros (Arch, Fedora, Debian)
NixOS users with Nvidia GPU only, it is borked on Sway WM. Gnome is out of the box experience.
NixOS users with nVidia GPU only, it is borked on Sway Window Manager. It is NixOS or Sway issue. nVidia GPU is not supported in Sway.
It is offline playable with cloud saves, but I couldnt connect to the server for multiplayer experience.
I made this tweak for running at 60fps in game.
Without tweak, I got 15 fps.
6800U is amazing cpu. Suprised 1280x800@60, no drops, really stable.
My Macbook Pro Early 2011 doesnt meet the minimum requirement, but I tested and it ran perfectly.
Run nicely on iGPU after following tweak: "cd path/to/steamapps/common/Jet\ Set\ Radio/ && rm jsrsetup.exe && mv jetsetradio.exe jsrsetup.exe"
After tweak, it runs nicely.
I am testing Fedora 34 Beta. I can load Wayland session or Xorg Classic session. This game doesn't work on Wayland session. No issues.
Out of the box. I could start even on Wayland session. I was able to select my Discrete Graphics Card (GTX 1060).

The game starts for the 1st time in Window mode. You can change to Bordeless Fullscreen and the game keeps the setup.
I could play online matches. No rematch at rate 2 in 25 matches. Lag is generic term, could be network, proton layer, some code condition.
For running at 60 fps, I setted the launch command to "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -r". -r option put framerate at 60 fps. I could do some trials. Excelent.
I need to install Proton-7.2-GE-2. It is flawless. I did not test multiplayer, only single player content. Out of the box.
Fedora Linux has native firewall and matchmaking needs ports open. The game needs a docs for troubleshooting.
I have problems when I use Enter key. It seem the Alt key is locket. Soon, I press Alt+Enter, the Enter key is functional.
Video playback is not good. With 7.1-GE-2, I could play videos, but there is a lot of videos to play, and, after 1st video it seems the second video is playing in background while you are selecting the chars.
