Fullscreen ran off the screen. Borderless worked perfect though.
If you get it started, it works perfectly. Somehow it can have issues getting started the first time on some Proton versions.
While I managed to get it to work on my NixOS system, it doesn't start at all so far on my Chromebook...

Works perfectly on Proton 9
Tested in VR on Fedora Wayland, works as seemlessly as Windows. Wireless controller is recommended even in VR; using the VR controllers are possible, but not as convenient for a game that relies on D-Pad and three buttons.

Works smoothly with GE-Proton9-27. For me it launched a bit longer for non-ge proton.

Perfect, zero issues.
Out of the box

TE:C runs exceptionally well, even on high resolution and refresh rates
No issues with mulltiplayer either, other than the fact you can not set your region in the game's settings.

With the default Proton version the game also runs well.

Sounds like very subtle audio buffering issue (very rarely)
Videos (ex. tutorials) do not play properly
Works perfectly out of the box
Runs perfectly, no changes needed at all.

Works great, no issues with desktop mode. VR required ALVR for my headset but worked great after that.
Installed ALVR to use VR mode with a Meta Quest 3.
Works great out of the box with Proton 9.0-2
Works perfectly out of the box!

Default resolution scaling is set to 150%. Looks pretty, but draws a lot of power (14-18w) on Steam Deck.
Set scaling to 120% (100% looks a bit grainy and text gets harder to read). This dropped power usage to 10.5 - 14w.
Great game, and no issues with Steam version.

Great performance at default settings, no issues with multiplayer

Initial SteamVR setup is buggy and sometimes starting SteamVR leads to a grey image in the headset. But the game itself runs fine.
In leaderboards and online multiplayer, your region will always be USA even if you are from somewhere else.
Works out-of-the-box, no tweaking necessary. No latency with keyboard input. Using Proton Experimental (default).

On fullscreen in game settings, getting pink chroma lines across screen. Borderless and windowed work without any graphical issues.
Had to use Proton GE as Proton Experimental and Proton 8 would not launch game but no other tweaks/launch settings
Out of the box
Works ootb.
Using the default (med-high) Steam Deck graphical settings the game runs at ~80 FPS depending on the amount of effects on screen. No bugs.

Likely due to system temperature or updates

On some parts with default settings, the game lags hard but still playable
Didn't work, my wifi might be the issue however
buy it, or download it, or play it now.

Often can't get through one of the areas in Journey mode without the game freezing and requiring a reboot.
The devs fixed HDR on Steam Deck. It now works out of the box with no workaround required.

Works great, but until the devs fix Steam Deck mode to support HDR, some tinkering is required to get HDR.

HDR does not work out of the box. It's forced off in Steam Deck mode, so that must be disabled. By default, Tetris Effect prefers DX11 over DX12. DXVK doesn't support HDR right now, so DX12 mode must be forced in order to use vkd3d.

The game runs great under Linux! The NEStris mode is my favorite I can't get enough.

Controls kinda felt wonky, but I'm not sure why.

Game doesn't start at all, all it does is change the Steam "Play" button to "Launching" and stays there in perpetuity.
Tried Proton Experimental, 8 and 7 options that are available in Steam Linux.

Works like a charm
