Some gacha preview animations do not display
Anticheat works on Linux. When it pops up a white anticheat screen (with a Nexon logo in the top bar), just close it.
Game works well on Hyprland. Fullscreen is fine.
For regionlocked users, connect to a VPN first before launching this game for the first time (and keep it on during first login). After that you may login without VPN.
Installed via Lutris, launcher version (not via XIVLauncher).
Works like a charm. This is a MMO after all.
Runs better than on Windows (frequent lag, framerate is a hit-or-miss, max 30). In here it goes up to 60FPS 1080p lowest + FXAA (FOV 70, everything lowest) on Limsa and its outskirt (I didn't remember the name), but dropped to 30-40 while on other areas. Raids and dungeons with other players are also good. Overall good experience.
Sometimes the game is so laggy (for connecting to server) that I can barely play, even after changing to the nearest server

Long time on Vulkan shader building
FPS increased to 90 (with lowest 1080p; on Windows it was below 30). That was last year. But performance degraded now, only go to 80 max, frequently at 45-60.
The game boots to a black screen then hung on.
Even Windows 11 can run it (not so good but for the hardware it's decent)
