1280x800 60fps no tdp limit. Graphics set to medium with some low and the game run smoothly at 60 fps with a great image quality. 2h battery
Crashing when opening Map/Questoverview (not at fast travel points)
Very rare crash: one crash near the end. Without this specific proton GE version, I had crashes 30s - 60s after opening the map.
without the GE proton, game crashed for me 30-60s after opening a map.

Good game for everyone who played Demon's Souls or Dark Souls. Pretty visual. Good story.
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
Crashes after 60-90 seconds in game. All of this because the devs abandoned fixing the game. This happens only on 11th, 12th Intel generation CPUs. Need to use this command line variable when running the game:
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000
For example:
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
After that game works as it should.
Frequent crashe because the game will not be fixed by the devs anymore. Keep crashing on 11th and 12th Intel generation CPUs. To workaround add thsi varible in command line:
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000
For example:
OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
It would crash on 11th and 12th Intel generation CPUs after some time. No such problems on ADM CPUs or older Intel CPUs.

Set FPS cap to 30
A small amount of areas where FPS would dip to lows of 15.
Sometimes the game would get stuck on the initial loading screen. Doing a forced quit and restart worked. Maybe 1 out of 10 game starts had this.
Played the game for 22 hours on the steam deck. Only experienced minor issues like the game failing to start sometimes, which was not a big issue as a simple retry worked.
Works out the box, minor stutter when loading new areas.
Stutters when loading a new area briefly, but otherwise flawless.

Proton-6.20-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.20-GE-1
I had one hard fatal error crash when jumping down into the well in the beginning but compeletly stable after that.
Really great performance on this title, I'm running with it all the way cranked on grpahics, motion blur and vsync turned off and 10% increased resolution scaling. I get around 90-110. with a mild overclock on my GPU and a slight overclock on my CPU (Really this isn't necessary, you probably would not notice any performance gains whatsoever.)

Works out of the box
Slight stuttering when loading a new area that goes away quickly
The Game runs very well, pulling on avg 80-120 fps at most times. Excellent experience.
The only issue that I have seen is Graphical, The loading screen and the Menu where you select quests do not show the NPC. The loading screen will show the helpful text, just not the MP4 video. The rest of the game works flawlessly! Play it.
If you don't want to play coop
You may need to tinker a little, but this will work once you've installed all nescessary drivers
For this to work you will need to install vulkan drivers (see arch wiki, regardless of your distro). I was getting the "fatal error" until I installed vulkan-radeon and lib32-vulkan-raden (your package name may vary)
I installed it, it dosen't open. When i open it ,it takes some time and then a wine styled info box displays "fetal error" thats it
Works perfectly out of the box
Game worked perfectly without a crash from the beginning to the end!
The game starts as soon as you hit play. Gamepad is more comfortable than kb/m for me.
Dualshock 4 Steam Controller config did not work with "generic gamepad" but worked perfectly with "Playstation Controller Configuration."
Played at 60fps in 21:9 (2560x1080)
