Set FPS cap to 30
A small amount of areas where FPS would dip to lows of 15.
Sometimes the game would get stuck on the initial loading screen. Doing a forced quit and restart worked. Maybe 1 out of 10 game starts had this.
Played the game for 22 hours on the steam deck. Only experienced minor issues like the game failing to start sometimes, which was not a big issue as a simple retry worked.
Don't see a save game option, but also didn't see it on windows.
Performance isn't great (below 30fps). Likely related to futex/fsync. Standard fedora kernel without fsync patches (futex_wait_multiple) but contains futex2 (futex_waitv).
Don't see any way to save / continue the game after start, but same on windows.
Only entered the tutorial for a bit, not a game to play on a deck imho but it at least works, whereas it seems to be broken on most if not all desktop installs. Might be anti cheat related.
No video cutscenes, but fairly flawless otherwise
Sometimes the light attack (keypad X) didn't work. In game menu's it works fine, just as a light attack it sometimes didn't work. Not sure the cause, but a few restarts seems to help. Once it works, it seems to keep on working for that play session.
No video cutscenes, rest works flawless
Movie files for cutscenes don't play
In a previous report I mentioned the controller light attack (keypad X key) not working. The solution for this is to once press the LMB button on the mouse for a light attack, from then on the game controller will work fine. If playing the game purely with a controller, it's easy to miss this fix!
MANGOHUD=1 gamescope -r 60 -e -- %command%
GE-Proton/Proton > 7 causes heavy stutter, Proton 7 causes the screen to black out at times, only GE-Proton7 upto 7-55 works flawlessly. First time login also requires Proton7 as anything higher will cause the game to crash when it pops up the EULA window. Using gamescope with refresh parameter and in-game vsync enabled.
