No issues
Works well with default proton

TDP limit to 10

Base game works perfectly fine.
For mods to work, used protontricks for winecfg and swapped from Windows 10 -> Windows 7, libraries winhttp
and version
. Once I did that mods work: https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterTrain/comments/10wvb93/mods_not_working_on_steam_deck/

No cutscene problems. Only needed tinkering to get mods to work
Hit some buttons to get past initial black screens
Intro videos do not play.
Worked perfectly out of the box, even the intro sequence played (with default AVProVideo player).
Haven't noticed any difference compared to earlier experience with Windows and Steam Deck.

Game wouldn't launch without Proton Experimental
Runs fine, no issues.
Game runs fine under latest Proton (7.0-4 at time of posting). No issues compared with the Windows version.
40hz, TDP 8 Watts
Daily Challange tried and finished. Small connection lost problems, though you it auto recconects and you only get notified (no pause / lost progress / nothing inconvenience)
One can change the UI Scale, if you feel it hard to read (I didn't)
The game for me works perfectly on the SteamDeck. No bugs, no blackscreen, smooth gameplay
Works without issues

Only change I made is in settings, under "Accessibility" there is an option for Large UI - taking it makes everything look great on Deck.
I did not have any cutscene problems other people encountered - they worked from the get-go.
Works great. Opening cutscene plays for me, no blackscreen. The text is pretty easy to read. I didn't have to strain my eyes to read at all.

Some Descriptions texts can become very small but still recognizable.
The cutscenes do not work with the default settings. But ingame the Video setting can be changed to Unity Video and then it works fine.
Cutscenes don't play and a black screen is displayed instead. Press any button to skip them.
The game is fully functional on the Steam Deck; the only issue to note is that the opening cutscene does not play. The game will load to a black screen and remain there until you press any button. After you press any button, you'll be able to play as normal.
Monitor Refresh rate set to 40Hz
The game works perfectly on the Deck. Only problem is: the cutscenes (like the intro one) don't play. BUT, there's an easy fix for that! At the first run of the game, just press A to skip the black screen. Then, in the video options, change the Video Player to "Unity". That's it. Don't know how many cutscenes there are and if there could be other problems, but in almost 5 hours of gameplay on the Deck, the game has been great. Should be Verified.
Intro and Covenent 25 cutscenes do not play
The game plays perfectly, but it's silly for this to be Platinum with non-functioning cutscenes. They may not be very important but the game is not 100% as-is. A new user might think the game is borked since it's just a black screen until you press something.
This game should not be Platinum-rated

You will need to skip the opening cutscene video, which does not load. Otherwise this runs flawlessly.
Works perfectly, intro cutscene problem can be fixed in settings
By default, the intro cutscene will fail to load and only show a black screen, which can be skipped with mouse click.
To fix it, go to Settings > Graphics and set Video Player to "Unity", which will fix the intro for future launches.
I was able to launch and play the game jsut fine. The Intro screen cinematic is black, but if you just skip it you will get into the game.
Except for the Intro movie which is upside down. But at least I can watch it! It doesn't work on my other PC (and never bothered to use Glorious Eggroll).
Works perfectly after skipping the intro cutscene
Opening cutscene does not work, click to skip.
Runs excellent at max settings. Intro video gives black screen and have to hit ESC to skip it.. Expansion for game runs well also.
Yes, definitely. it runs exactly how i'd expect a native game to.
Intro cut-scene doesn't play
I was having full system freezes but after downgrading my kernel to 5.13 from 5.15 it is now stable.
Probably enjoyable, if it doesn't crash your computer
Intro video doesn't play
After only 75 minutes of play time i have got two crashes, you might say "that's not too bad, there are autosaves and the game boots fast" but both of those crashes where system crashes, not game crashes. full system freeze.
The crashing is most likely a problem on my end
I had to install it on my primary drive to work, it wouldn't launch otherwise.
For intro video, change Settings -> Graphics -> “Video player” to “Unity”.
The intro video doesn't work.
I had to install it on my system drive, while installed on an additional SSD the game immediatly crashed. I did not experience the issue with other games.
Moving the game via Local files > Move installation between the Steam directories worked and I could reproducibly play on my system drive and not play on the second drive.
