Monitor set at 40Hz
The game ran flawlessly from start to finish. Nothing else to say.
Changed Monitor Refresh rate to 40Hz
Cloud saves don't work cross-platform.
The only problem I had is with the save data: Valve decided to switch the game default config from Win + Proton to Native. The cloud save isn't configured for cross-platform, so it looked like I lost all my progress. Had to force the game throught Proton to continue play the run I started on the Deck...
Game runs great on Native too, but if you were playing or want to play a run started on the Windows version, you need to run the game throught Proton.
Monitor Refresh rate set to 40Hz
The game works perfectly on the Deck. Only problem is: the cutscenes (like the intro one) don't play. BUT, there's an easy fix for that! At the first run of the game, just press A to skip the black screen. Then, in the video options, change the Video Player to "Unity". That's it. Don't know how many cutscenes there are and if there could be other problems, but in almost 5 hours of gameplay on the Deck, the game has been great. Should be Verified.
Game is Native and runs well. Does not support closs-platform cloud saving on the Native version.
Screen refresh rate to 40Hz
The Cloud Saves, like with Hollow Knight, are per-platform. If you have a save on Windows and want continue that save on the Deck running the game Native, it will NOT download the saves from the cloud. Viceversa is the same (from Native to Windows). Note that the Windows version doesn't run, unless you try some of the thinkering specified in the other report for this game.
Apart from the cross-platform cloud saving issue, the only problem I had was with running the game for the first time. The game would not run and got stuck on a black screen. Restarting the Deck solved the issue. And yes, this was on the Native version of the game.
Other than that, I'm having a good experience.
Monitor refresh rate set to 40Hz
In 2 hours of gameplay, the game crashed randomly 3 times...
The game looks and plays good on the Deck, but the crashes are really annoying. Expected more stability for a "Deck Verified" game...
Display set to 40Hz
Didn't do any thinkering. The game runs fine.
Monitor Refresh rate set to 45Hz
All the "revelation" cutscenes, and only those, had the audio out of sync. It was annoying, but nothing game breaking.
I set myself to play this game entirely on the Deck, which took some time. Basically, I played the game throught 4 different version of Proton.
The game runs fine, never crashed or any other problem, but the one that I cited with the audio out of sync for the "revelations" cutscenes, which is annoying, but nothing major.
