I had no issues running this with Proton Experimental other than the intro video not playing. Everything else ran fine, including the games.
I think there's an opening cinematic but I don't know for sure because it just displays a garbled mess. Clicking to move past it works fine.
It's playable with Proton, and free! Worth checking out.
The game runs with a low framerate, although that could be an optimization issue with the game itself, not Proton.
The game plays great with Proton, no issues other than a minor resolution fix!
Fullscreen/full resolution was too big for the screen. Setting the resolution to a lower setting than what it defaulted to in the game's settings menu fixed the issue.
The game plays great under Proton, just install and go!
The opening cinematic loads at the wrong aspect ratio and is unviewable. Everything else is fine.
Game is currently borked under Proton, it plays but then freezes after a couple of minutes in, every time.
Fullscreen had some graphical glitches around the edges during gameplay.
The game freezes when travelling down a tunnel, tried multiple Proton versions, all freeze in the same spot.
The game runs fine, no slowdowns or crashes. Missing music is a minor issue.
Sound effects are fine, but the MIDI music does not play. Spent some time playing with audio settings but could not find a solution.
The game is playable with Proton, but some of the puzzles will have additional difficulty because of the splitscreen graphical glitch.
The splitscreen view which is a major part of gameplay had a graphical glitch showing an extra image between the top and bottom. This effects some gameplay elements.
The game runs great under Proton, and is a lot of fun! No modifications needed, just click Play and go!
Command line options are necessary to get the patcher working, and the protontricks d3d is needed for graphics to render. Works perfectly!
%command% --disable-gpu

Game seems to run well!
FInal credits sequence did not load, black screen only. ESC worked to skip and return to main menu.
The game runs great, just click play and go!
The game gradually slows down and needs a restart after a couple of hours of playtime.
Black screen while loading past the main menu in Proton Experimental, but booted right up and played with no problems at all with 6.3-8.
I had one crash during an 8 hour play session, and had no issues getting right back in, autosave had me up to the minute before I crashed.
The game runs perfectly with no modifications on Steam Deck. Very light on the battery as well, my fan didn't even kick on.
The game is quite playable under Proton, just install and run!
Some minor clipping at the bottom of the screen even with vsync on. May not have anything to do with Proton.
This game plays great on the Steam Deck and Linux, definitely recommended if you like this kind of hentai game!
The game crashes after about an hour of playtime. Not a big deal, just start it again and play for another hour. It seems like a memory leak of some sort.
No issues at all playing the game on the Steam Deck. The default controller layout worked perfectly. Just install and get right to the fun part!
At the opening screen, gives the message "Unable to communicate with the login service. If this persists, please contact support."
Steam discussion forum thinks this is because it's trying to use an external browser to login and can't initialize it.
Nevergrind Online plays great with Proton! No issues, just install and run.
Have discussed with some other players in the game to confirm this runs well on Steam Deck too, and there are already some community button layouts to enable players to use all of the abilities.
The demo plays great with Proton, the main game should as well! No issues, just install and run.
Starship Titanic runs better under Proton than by using its Linux Native executable.
The game plays at like 16-20fps, but this may just be the way it's meant to run.
In fact, I couldn't get the Linux Native version to run, but the Windows version runs fine using Proton, as long as you don't mind the low FPS.
Game opens but with black screen and stuttering sound effects.
Currently borked under Proton, tried GE, Proton 7.0-3 and Experimental.
No issues with online multiplayer, ran a 6-person match and everything went fine.
No issues at all, just install and play!
Other than the issues listed here, the game works great with Proton! Highly recommended.
Audio is crackling constantly, may be more of a DOSBox thing than Proton.
Launching in Windowed mode does not work.
Mouse acceleration was strange, mouse performs normally as long as you move it slowly, but accelerates wildly if moving too quickly.
The game works great with Proton, almost no issues at all!
Game will not let me move from Fullscreen directly to Windowed Fullscreen. However, moving to Windowed first and then to Windowed Fullscreen is a workaround.
Set A button as mouse click, both joysticks to mouse control just for ease of use, the game plays fine without it, only uses mouse inputs, I only changed it for personal preference.
Just as a note, this works fine on normal Arch Linux under Proton as well, no issues there either, tried both.
