Udating the Proton version did update the path of my saves. So I had to copy the old saves to the new directory:
Old directory: SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1332010/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Hk_project/Saved/SaveGames/Slots
New directory: SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1332010/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Hk_project/Saved/SaveGames/${STEAM_USER_ID}/Slots
Totally smooth with no tinkering. Worked with SN30 Pro gamepad.

(10/10) Assim como no Windows, não tive nenhum problema ao jogar, mas no Linux tive um pouco mais de desempenho.

Launched entirely as expected, and ran perfectly on an approximate one hour test, playing in various areas to collect memories for an achievement.
Green tick should mean work out of the box, but I can't start the game with error "Failed to load descriptor file"

When yout get the error LowLevelFatalError
while playing (it occured during a cut-scene or while the game tried to save) uninstall an reinstall the game. That fixed it for me.

im using all low settings as im running it with integrated graphics, slight stutters from that but it mostly runs well when you progress to the 2nd chapter

-dx12
lighting artifacts without -dx12
, no artifacts with
input lag and detection was not constant, could be due to bleutooth. wired connection worked fine, except when not detected.
mapping is an issue with the game itself, i had the same issue in 2022 with windows.
No performance drop with dx11 even at 200% resolution scaling, 165fps constant. huge drop under dx12 with big stutters sometimes (amd gpu not great for ray tracing), max 45fps.
with a nvidia gpu or 9000 amd gpu it should be fine on dx12. but dx11 had a lot of heavy lighting artifacts (squares flickering on reflective surfaces). i would not recommend without using dx12, and you need a really beefy gpu as dx12 means raytracing in ths game.

just works
.
Works like a charm

Weird texture glitches
The game has no problem to run but I experienced some annoying graphics issues. It seems like textures are not rendered correctly. They are so noticeable they make the game impossible to play.
just works :)

limited fps to 45, medium settings, resolution scale 80%
artifacts because of the resolution scale 80%

Runs flawlessly with no tinkering.

Runs smooth
Amazing game would recommend

Launching with newer versions of Proton results in the error: LowLevelFatalError [File: Unknown] [Line: 1209] GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread afer 120.00 secs
VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/intel_icd.i686.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/intel_icd.x86_64.json PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%

Stray runs puuuuurfectly under Linux (CachyOS here). I used proton-cachyos and 'game-performance %command%' for launch parameters.
game-performance %command%

Working just fine straight outta box
No noticeable stutter and fps drops, everything works just fine.

I have a arm64 emulation so it is expected
Keep in mind I am emulating with muvm and fex-emu

It works well, it plays well, and it's overall one of the best stories I've played.

From someone who did 100% achievements all on steam deck, stray runs perfecly out of the box.
Tho game runs very well, there are some barely noticable frame drops in more demanding areas. I would recommend setting all graphical settings to medium, resolution scale to 80% and lock in game and on steam deck to 60 fps. That way I had no issues at all.
Works perfectly well out of the box.
X-Box controller was not detected by default.
Had to go to the games steam menu -> Controller -> Disable Steam input
I use the latest version of GE-Proton on everything unless it needs tinkering. It just works. any newish proton version should suffice.
Working great. Basically no issues by default.
Everything runs smooth. Controller is 8bitDo SN30pro+
Played through the game with no issues
impossibile giocare con il controller
