At first it was fine until I got to nibelheim and the image has frozen several times in different sessions and at different times. I have tried lowering the FPS to the minimum (30 FPS) and lowering the quality, nothing has helped, the image keeps freezing. I have tried different versions of proton such as experimental or GE and they both do the same thing, the image freezes. There have been times when the game would close and return to the Desktop, and other times I have had to force the computer to shut down. I have tried to verify the integrity of the game files and nothing, the image keeps freezing.
