if ubisoft connect has some problems to prevent you from login, than you need to set your mtu to 1452. also you need to start the game first trough steam if you want to play over extra launcher like lutris. it just wont load otherwise.

Runs smooth without problems
if you play on a laptop with hybridgraphics, this should help by intel nvidia. runs extrem smooth on a 1050ti with a combination with low and med settings. (stable 60 fps with GE-Proton7-9)

if you drive on gravel, it can happen that the audio crackles.
the native version has severe performance problems. with the proton version it runs without any real problems.
if you want to play the game with an extra launcher, you have to start it once on steam, because the ubisoft launcher has problems with the login of the data through the extra launcher (no idea why). then it goes to lutris etc. that works with all ubisoft games.

FPS drops at night. Works well on the lowest settings

cant change fullscreen to windowed or to others. need to setup it manually in the configfile and set it to only read.

tab out of the game resets the screensettings and it didnt accept any changes to it. if you want to play in borderless window:
start the game and change all options how you want it and close the game.
change in the config.ini(installation directory): under [Application] WindowModeOption=1 ResolutionOption=59(this stays everything at the end of the config.ini for the resolution) VSyncOption=1 MaxFpsOption=1
under [RenderConfig] FullScreenDisplayMode=59(this stays everything at the end of the config.ini for the resolution) FullScreenMode=false WindowMode=Borderless

the sunrise dlc has problems starting with the nvidia gpu and therefore renders with the intel gpu. (hybrid graphics Intel/Nvidia laptop). The command fixed it for me and lets the game run at 90 fps.
Game runs for me only without upscaler or if i use upscaler with nativ aa (fsr)
testet on beta. i didnt used fsr first time and the game freezes after 5 minutes. with fsr nativ aa no problem anymore.

high cpu usage cause cracking like changing areas.
game is sometimes laggy, but i guess it is the game self. many peoples got that even on windows.
important thing: chance experimental to bleeding edge. first command sets the gpucache directly in your gamedirectory.(mesa of course) second one the corecount. game cant really reconize these and that cause crashes atleast for me. (3dcache maybe?) if you got another cpu with less or more cores set it to this corecount. if it still crashes set it 1 core lower.
Cant start or join a game
i can't say much about the performance as i can neither start nor join a game. the texts are simply grayed out. guess the game is trying to call up some windows service for internet connectivity.

native version has some problems with 2 screens. use proton if you have 2 or more.
it's a little quiet, but you can boost the audio from the computer.
It's a bit slow at the beginning of the snowstorm, but the rest of the game is very smooth

fsr1 is needed, otherwise i get grapical glitches. with that, the game runs without any problems at all. 4 hours straight without problems on High/Max settings without raytracing.
Not Possible to Start
didnt work on linux or win11. guess its a gameissuse with amd cards at the time? but to time not possible to play.

first command for amds rebar support, second one for more fps. 1080p with a 7900xt 100-120 fps easy on ultra settings with "mesas kisak" drivers.

first ones to enable dlss and third one to cap the fps at higher framerate, because the game has only vsync.

DX 11 is somehow Borked for me, DX 12 runs better than 11(makes no sense for me)
Disable E-Sync for stable FPS
Launcher dindt download sometimes large updates (need to force the download)

dx11 creates cachefiles over 4-5gb big just in warframe. needed to switch to dx 12 to fix that. there rebuild after each time, if i reboot my pc. (not healthy for ssds)
if you can live with small fps drops no problem.
graphic effects can shine very brightly from time to time. at night they can be very bright.
a little bit less fps than in windows, but still smoother. around 30-40. swiveling the view quickly causes fps drops and black borders when the image is re-rendered.

set the mousepolling rate to 500 for smooth movement
if you use a laptop with hybrid graphics like me(intel nvidia) you need to use this command to force the game to run over the nvidia gpu, otherwise you only run with 1 fps.
