Works out-of-box like native game
Haven't tested the co-op game, if there is any issues with it

Works great out of the box.

(none)
Don't really have much to say here, other than the game plays perfectly and you can get a better frame rate if you lower the graphics settings (atleast for me)

Nothing game breaking. Just small text.
The game runs okay, but for a simplistic looking 2D game it is surprisingly heavy to run. Consistently uses all the power of the Deck and still dips below 60.

The game functions flawlessly, and I did not experience any issues!

Runs and plays very well on Steam Deck, and is a MUCH better experience than on Nintendo Switch.
CryoUtilities Recommended Settings (though IDK if that improved the performance of this game or not, putting this here just in case)
Text is generally a fine size, but there is an option in the game's settings to increase text size if needed.
Performance drops in your cult's base to around 60 - 45 during late game, with lots of followers walking around. though it runs like this on every platform, so it's probably not the Steam Deck's fault.
Crusades run at around 80 - 90FPS on Steam Deck OLED, which makes the game look and feel very smooth (obviously)

The framerate tends to dip to around 40 - 50 during late-game at your cult's base, but this happens on most hardware.
Crusades run at around 80 - 90fps on Steam Deck OLED, which makes the game feel very smooth and responsive to play, especially when compared to other ports (I'm looking at you, Nintendo Switch...)
Runs great OoTB!

Resolution settings do a strange thing where they lower if I'm playing handheld and then plug in to my TV in the same session, or vice versa. Just go into settings and change them back to what they need to be - simple but annoying.
Other than the small resolution change issue when changing modes of play, I've had 0 issues with this game over 40 hours. It's a great game for the Deck!

Flawless
Hopping between the Steam Deck and my desktop, the resolution and quality settings are carried over via Steam cloud - that means you'll have to change them each time you jump between devices. Everything else works great!

Game bought on GOG and played via Heroic Games Launcher using the newest version of GE-Proton (as of today, GE-Proton9-25).
Game works like a charm without any issues.
Worked great as if natively

Runs butter-smooth

The game runs fine most of the times, with occasionally frame drops with a lot of characters on screen, that also happens on my PC with Windows, so it's most likely the game's fault.

Lowered graphics settings to save battery life.

When entering my cult, and in certain rooms on crusades, I'll have minor unexpected frame drops, but, overall, it works as intended out of the box.
Perfect out of the box

Runs well on Wine/Proton. Some audio crackling and my controller is detected.
When escaping from fullscreen, you cannot enter the game again. Either don't do that or use the Borderless window.
Cult of the Lamb runs well on Wine/Proton without much issue. There is some audio crackling at resource-intense scenes. I can play with my controller without any problems. Even if I had to install drivers for my controller, that wouldn't necessarily be the game's fault.

Game experiences slowdown when dealing with a large cult with a lot of buildings. Experienced similar slowdown in Windows. And straight up freezes on PS5 so I suspect this might be an engine limitation.
Runs exactly the same as the Windows version for better and for worse. Any and all bugs experienced with co-op are platform agnostic. The games co-op mode is just really buggy (for now).
Requires a graphics card. Attempting to run on my hacked Chromebook (Debian) resulted in about 1 fps.

No issues to note, just download and play. Works great handheld and docked alike.

Works perfect
Runs straight out of the box. No tinkering required.

no tinkering or anything required.

Slowdowns in late game when the camp is crowded. May affect dungeon crawling.

game worked great out of the box no issues

Frames are dropping a bit in the cult map when it gets crowded, but runs super smoothly otherwise.
