Got heavy artifacts and screen occluded with default settings but after tinkering with video settings I got rid of them.
Native performance is trash as graphical quality but with Proton performance and graphical quality are pretty good.
I don't know if it is possible to connect to public servers while using Proton due to EAC. Multiplayer was fine when playing with friends.
Native is garbage but game is good with Proton.
Multiplayer does not work. Out of sync at the start of match.
After an alt+tab game screen keeps scrolling to the side.
Provided community fixes didn't work.
Media playback don't work, experience is a bit sluggish but outside that the game runs fine.
Video playback not working
It don't open without tinkering (patching and compiling Proton)
AFAIK it runs perfectly out of the box. Performance might be degraded but was good.
Can escape from fullscreen but not from borderless window (it focus back when alt+tabbing).
It's fine with "fake fullscreen" but Alt+Tab with fullscreen make the window disappear.
I expected a better performance. I am able to hit stable 1440p@60fps on Medium but still it feels laggy.
Performance vastly improved when I disabled VSync, enable Fullscreen (not windowless) and then reenabled VSync with double buffering. It jumped from 52fps to 130fps.
Have to disable the launcher on launch options with '--skip-launcher'. This is a recent minor update and the last fix should be reverted or the game will open to a black screen and then close.
Crashes in a matters of seconds.
Used to work fine but recently I started experiencing frequent crashes,~2/hour. And today's update just made things worse as it is crashing in a matter of seconds so it's impossible to play.
Will succeed at matchmaking but will not allow to join the match resulting in abandonment.
Works well on the menus but always stutter and crash after a few seconds when trying to salvage.
Always crash after a few seconds.
I think performance should be better giving my hardware but I might be wrong.
If you look to the ship from the HAB it will make the game crash along with your DE. Most of the times if you enable the scanner it will not crash. It will never crash if you do a space moonwalk instead. Just do both for safety and besides this, which is just a nuissance as the crash is avoidable, I haven't experienced any other issues.
Very rare texture flickering.
Below 60fps with a GTX470 and Ryzen 5 2600.
So far everything works perfectly.
Expected more frames per second.
Crash when accepting EULA
Used ProtonGE. With Proton Experimental it crashes when lauching.
Everything works but it's not playable.
Kicked out of match in less than 10s.
Kicked out of match in less than 10s.
Runs out of the box.
Performance is great for small-mid sized parks. Not so much for large parks. Auto settings are fine, tinkering with video settings resulted in huge performance drop.
EAC works out of the box. Performance is great except on a few maps (e.g. Fallujah). The "HighResShot 320x200" trick after map change is helpful sometimes.
Runs perfect out of the box but performance is not 100%
It is using all of my VRAM (8GB) in 1440p. Performance is reasonable but I expected more as I played it in the past in an older hardware. It seems there's an issue with the magic cube particles. As pressing F instantly degrades my performance.
Native did more FPS.
DX12 don't work. No crash but black screen.
Performance is decent and fluid on good hardware but feels worse than on Windows.
All kinds of tooltips are missing and this is a big nuisance.
Native version is decent and the only reason for running with Proton that I see is being able to multiplayer with Windows players.
The data directory should be manually created otherwise it will not save game progress.
mkdir -p ~/.local/share/Godot/app_userdata/Ukraine\ Defense\ Force\ Tactics
Have to manually reselect audio input sometimes.
UI issues. Face mirror not showing. Mic state indicator not visible.
Frequent stuttering where the game will freeze for 2-3s without updating the screen and without sound.
Many issues where I'm unable to swap avatars or connect to worlds. But this probably isn't due to Proton but just that the game has bad servers and networking. It doesn't happen all the time and using a VPN improve things. I don't have this issue with other games.
I had significant issues with both Steam default and Proton GE latest.
Menu input is very laggy. Pointer offset when windowed.
Time freezes in some maps against AI not sure if it is a Linux only issue.
Native was great but a patch disabled crossplay with Windows. So you are required to run the game with Proton or everyone else should downgrade their games.
The game crashed frequently when changing options but didn't crash when playing.
When launching it will trow and error dialog and show a black screen due to the intro video. ALT+TAB and close the dialog and double press ESC to skip the intro.

After the new DLC the game catastrophically crashes at startup
It also crashes the desktop environment. It does not matter if you have the new DLC installed or not.
Random crashes during match.
During launch the intro movie will not play and get stuck in a black screen, have to press ESC to skip.
Performance was okay but game crashes frequently. IDK if changing settings is a workaround.
