Sometimes some textures are in a lower resolution than they should be (But this could be just Paladins, and not linux / proton
as others have pointed out, if you have fullscreen mode enabled, and alt tab out of the game, and then go back to it, the window just stays black. Workaround: change from Fullscreen to Borderless Fullscreen, then it works. (Extra note: when i did this, i still had my panels above and below the game window (KDE Plasma). Just Alt + F3 > "More actions" > "Fullscreen". Then they were gone)
On AMD hardware this runs way better compared to Windows. I can lock to 600fps on DX9, but after a couple of games it starts to get slower

Sometimes the game stops receiving updates from the server while in lobby, and if you're in queue when it happens you'll get deserter
Paladins has issues running on windows, so that with the extra little issues makes it slightly more annoying to play on linux.

Sometimes the hero will be stuck moving forward, but still has full-range of motion. Mostly just annoying
Had a crash and took three re-launches to get back in the game and the game decided to give me a random character.
When launching the game it will sometimes get stuck on "loading vendors" and sit there. I have to force quit and re-launch the game.
Turn off D3D11 in-game and you can run in full-screen mode no problem. Textures generally render a lot better too. To make sure I had a comprehensive review, I played this game on linux for ~10 hours before this submission. With 120 hours of gametime overall. At least it works, but they still need to fix a lot of bugs.

Alt-tab away from a fullscreen window then the window turns black. The game has to be restarted to fix it. Borderless window works fine.

La pantalla se pone en negro pero se puede solucionar cambiandolo a modo ventana con el (alt + enter)

malgré mon processeur graphique, le jeu fonctionnait parfaitement. Sachant que je l'ai mis en mode fenetré. Aucun bug détécté, memes performances que sur windows, J'ai pu jouer avec un ami qui lui est sous windows.

Por se tratar de um jogo do formato Hero Shooter dadas as opções pela leveza e gameplay vale apena recomendar a outras pessoas.

Quando pressionado ALT + TAB a tela fica preta e não minimiza corretamente, funciona apenas apertando ALT + ENTER, ai sim é possivel alternar entre as janelas normalmente.
O jogo em si é bom, a empresa dele deixou ele de escanteio e perdeu de polir esse jogo como merecia, porém fico feliz que em seu leito de ''Semi-morte'', os desenvolvedores habilitaram o suporte para o Linux, a anos eu tentava jogar no Linux mas sempre me frustrava por conta do anti cheat bloquear as tentativas de inicio de partida, permitindo somente o modo da galeria de tiro, mas estou muito contente e vou voltar a jogar esse game que fez parte de um grande periodo da minha vida.

Jogo funcionando perfeitamente, tanto online quanto galeria de tiro! Sem problemas com anti-cheat.
Quando eu dou Alt+Tab pra minimizar o jogo, e em seguida tento abrí-lo de novo, fica com tela preta. Resolvo o problema Apertando Alt+Enter para sair e voltar para a tela cheia.
Ao usar Proton Hotfix, o jogo iniciou a primeira vez mas nas próximas vezes que tentei iniciar crashava. Até o momento com Proton GE não crashou.
Jogo funcionando perfeitamente, sem perda de desempenho, não fiz nenhuma modificação, não adicionei parâmetros de inicialização. Mas quem quiser adicionar algum parâmetro, o pessoal costuma recomendar "gamemoderun %command%" (sem aspas). Aparentemente habilitaram a compatibilidade do EasyAntiCheat no Linux, espero que se mantenha assim. Mas diferente de quando se rodava no Windows, a tela splash do jogo (com símbolo do EAC) não aparece.

- sometimes it disconnects you after a match (screen blacks out for ~5sec, then all the stats are messed up. when going to the lobby you can reconnect, but then the gamemode-selection is broken)
X11: It works perfectly. Wayland: Sometimes it can freeze.
It's just install and play. But keep in mind that the game no longer receives support from the developers. Perhaps that's the reason they activated the anti-cheat at the last minute.
I belive the devs enabled linux compatiblity for easy anti cheat, hopefuly it stays. Runs Great!

As vezes o Alt-Tab não funcionava corretamente
O sistema travava de vez em quando
Iniciei o jogo com uma versão antiga do proton-ge que eu tinha no meu hd que eu lembrava que funcionava bem no paladins quando eu jogava há uns anos, para minha surpresa eu consegui iniciar uma partida e jogar com jogadores reais sem problemas fora algumas travadas ocasionais, tentei usar o proton experimental mas o jogo travava na tela de loading inicial e fechava sozinho.
Works on wine again.
Sad that the devs abandoned the game this year.

Game installs and opens, I can doot around in the menus, and when I try to join an online game I get booted within 10 seconds. This is depressing.
Can't join without getting kicked, game ruined by Anti-Cheat.
The game devs disabled the EAC Linux Support that they once had enabled, so there is no longer a way to play on Linux.
You can do character customization and Shooting Range. If you try to do anything else, the game will kick you while entering a match.

Mouse only works on X11 not Wayland. Queue works but you get booted back to the the main menu a few seconds after spawning.
Easy Anty Cheat throws out of the game after the start of the match. Enjoy the main menu and the choice of the hero in the lobby and on the way out, take a break from the game after that...
Another game boned by a lazy developer and EAC
Literally all Evil Mojo had to do was flip a switch for Linux support and they won't do it. But they'll go out of their way to block ultrawide displays because "le competitiveness".
I love this game but if you want a hero shooter on Linux you're going to have to stick to Overwatch.
Looby kick loop
