Added in some FSR with Optiscaler & adjusted Engine.ini - combines well to eek out a considerable performance increase with no fidelity loss.
Works OTB on Steam Deck, my laptop however, I ran into an issue which appears to be affecting folks over on Windows as well.
Specifically a memory leak occuring on launch whilst the splash screen is displayed.
Deleting "TargetHardwareProfiler.dll" from the game directory was necessary to resolve the issue and run the game, which ran perfectly after this step.

It would appear this issue only affects system configurations with AMD integrated and Nvidia discrete graphics.
gamescope -W 3440 -H 1440 -w 3440 -h 1440 -r 120 -f --force-windows-fullscreen --hide-cursor-delay 1000 -- %command%
High intensity flickering during the opening cutscenes. Proton experimental was required for the initial Microsoft sign-in required on first boot.
As per earlier reports, gamescope was required (In my case) to run the game without being presented with an headache inducing flicker during the opening cutscenes.
Those issues aside, its been stable and performant experience - online all working properly, ready for friends and family to get this great title on PS5.
DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME=4070 %command%
It appears on systems with an internal and dedicated GPU (Mux Laptop), you'll need to ensure you use the filter as shown, changing it as per your system.
For example, if your have a AMD RX6800S, just change the filter from 4070 to 6800S.

Likely works fine without fiddling around - if you have a desktop machine, or single GPU laptop.
-dlccampaign HW1Campaign.big -campaign HomeworldClassic -moviepath DataHW1Campaign
As per Vinnies notes in the previous report, the launcher itself is borked. Wouldn't even launch in my case.
Using the same custom commands, it's equally doable through steam without using SteamTinkerLaunch.
Add a Game > Add a Non-Steam Game.
For Example : "/home/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/Homeworld/HomeworldRM/bin/Release/HomeworldRM.exe"
Then, add the following launch options before hitting play :
-dlccampaign HW1Campaign.big -campaign HomeworldClassic -moviepath DataHW1Campaign
You can find the rest of what you need below. Thank you VinnieSift! Without those launch commands, I was previously able to run the game, however, single player content was not availiable to play.
Regular crashes (Not related to ingame FMV) - Seems to occur less frequently when disabling the second monitor through nvidia settings.
Since 3.16-5 the game has been running extremely well other than the mouse issue mentioned numerous times below, however, if you don't mind playing with controller this is gold standard, platinum if the mouse is fixed.
As mentioned in previous, if you find you are crashing once the world has loaded, you may need to set 'TerrainTessellation" to low in the TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML file, found at :
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/No Man's Sky/Binaries/SETTINGS. Once changed, it runs great, a few weird behaviours on a couple of textures, but its certainly the best I've seen the game run so far.
For users on Nvidia, see the guides below, as the current version requires you spoof your Vendor ID to replicate AMD. News on the grapevine is Hello Games have recognised the issue.

You MUST go into Betas and select patch2 - patch2 if you are looking to get good framerates out of this game
On occasion, I was experiencing crackling, until Windows Spatial Audio was disabled.
Extremely poor FPS, until the patch 2 beta was installed
Steam > Ori and the Will of the Wisps > Properties > Betas. Choose patch 2, install. Gets you from a widely varied 30-60 FPS all the way to 160+, even on this laptop.
As below, delete the files mentioned. Been waiting for this game for awhile and it runs so well!
It would appear something has rolled back in terms of EAC, I am back to being booted within 15 seconds of joining an online game, anyone else experiencing this?
Like many others, the shader cache process has this game performance utterly nosedive for at least a minute or two, after that, 60+ FPS throughout and reasonably stable and high or ultra settings - I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a competitive edge, however.
High volumes of enemies can reduce FPS considerably when compared to windows, but it's no slouch, almost perfect.
Lowered the settings (Which didnt have a significant impact on the visual quality) and capped display to 40.
As mentioned in the PC reports, this game works without issue on deck too. I strongly reccomend changing the "HUD Display" user interface setting (Ingame) From classic to modern, otherwise the UI can be quite cluttered on this smaller form factor.
Main menu, and the install launchers that appear will require the use of a cursor, if they could resolve the cursor/touchscreen reliance - This is pretty much worthy of a steam verified tick.
Runs fantastic, since the latest Nvidia drivers and proton version, it comes real close to native windows performance. I see previous reports suggesting the game is added to the recommended steam games, I fully agree!
Some setup required, run into the same sound issues as mentioned in other messages, you'll need winetricks.
Follow the instructions here : https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/99i4se/skyrim_on_linux_steam_play_no_voiceno_music_audio/
If that doesnt resolve the voice audio issues, extracting the files from here : https://github.com/Kron4ek/FAudio-Builds/releases/tag/19.01 To the system32 folder (.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32) should do the trick.
This is one of those flagship proton games, fantastic performance at ultra settings - unexpected for a game of such polish and detail.
