The game feels like it runs smoother in the main menu, it's a shame that you get kicked from it after 30 seconds because the anti-cheat hates you

Random slowdowns
A crash every hour or two
Tried experimental, ver 7 and ver 6 of proton with no luck.
Unable to see in Gaming mode. Need to go to desktop mode first, then change the window option to fullscreen.
If you are hearing music but not seeing video, see title.
There's... Easy Anti Cheat that prevents you from even playing the single player...

Had to rename eldenring.exe to start_protected_game.exe and change the eac exe name
A lot of crashes and frequent pop in on max settings.
It's about the same as it is on Windows, a lot of crashes every few minutes, although on my first session I experienced no crashes within an hour so maybe it is slightly better than Windows.
Maybe a few mods could improve the experience but if you just play it on Steam out of the box you will have a bumpy experience.
If you've ever played the game on Windows, the experience (Out of the box) is practically the same, maybe a bit more stable.
In 4-ish hours I had about three crashes, one infinite loading screen and one system crash (But that was caused by tabbing out).

Need to run in Windowed
On the first boot I experienced bad stuttering and a crash. After I configured my settings everything ran normally.
Crackling would happen alongside slowdowns in a few missions but when I restarted at the checkpoint it fixed itself.
Occasional stutters when booting up and during a few missions
The game's status says that it's running for about 2 minutes and then stops.
Can't connect to friends game, it tells me that they are incompatible versions but the build numbers are the same.
Performance is a slight issue but fine for a management game
Stuck at 37fps, medium and low settings and it stuttered really bad at launch and once during gameplay.
Cutscenes didn't work. The colours bled everywhere with motion in the background.
Interacting with helicopters always sets this off
When using binoculars, the mouse sensitivity went really high making it hard to control with no way to change it.
Occasional stuttering
I crashed three times, which happened when I spent more than 15 minutes on one level, I had a devastating crash at the end of the second to last level.
Bumpers weren't doing anything but that might have been a steam issue; I re-selected my controller in Steam Big Picture and then it worked fine.
In-engine cutscenes worked fine but pre-rendered cutscenes don't play: an error message comes up saying that the movie failed.
Only works on GE8-2, if not then you'll crash at the logo screen. It plays great when you get it working.

The inbuilt file manager is very good at not hiding my linux hard drive like other games on proton, 10/10 very cool.
Launched, saw a brief animation, went to black, waited a few minutes, nothing.
Just Menu
Can't connect to the tutorial. Also, the controls aren't mapped properly. The mouse can click to select but not actually interact with any of the buttons, I had to use space bar to do that. No control menu (It has one but for sensitivity only) to change that either.
Wouldn't intitially launch even after switching compatibility modes, had to restart Steam and then reselect GE
Close to perfect
Ship transitions and other non-interactive cutscenes wouldn't play.
No audio
No cut scenes or splash screens.
Crashes on first loading screen
The game crashes my PC after a few seconds into the loading screen. Doesn't boot up on default and experimental.
Crashes PC
New ver. of proton GE dropped (7-47), Darktide gets further than it did before, still crashes my PC on the loading screen past the splash videos.
