Does not launch/run at all. Opens up and then closes

Можно играть через героик лаунчер, работает как игровой режим, так и десктоп. Каких либо значимых проблем не выялено. Ставь и играй.
Works fine OOTB

Not Responding pop-up immediately. Never responds no matter how many times I click wait.
Not sure why it works for others but not me. I'm even in a popular Distro: Ubuntu 24.04.
Game will always start on currently active screen, doesn't care about primary screen.

Worked well for me on Steam Deck.

Might have to hold Start+Option button to switch to steam controller mode

gamemoderun %command%

Frequent crashes make the game unplayable
Crashed several times within 30 min. of playing.
Everything else works great. Also, I couldn't figure out, what could produced the crashes. They happened in different situations within the game.
Works as native game, even at higher FPS.

just DOSEN'T work 4
gamemoderun %command%
seems not to work on my arc a770, i also tried various GE versions and older proton versions, game ultimately crashed once the loading bar reached 100% in all versions
strangle 60 %command%
Cloud save is not working for me.
If it goes over 60-70 fps, it starts stuttering and heating my pc like crazy. Hence the strangle launch options. Here is the github repo for the fps limitter: https://github.com/milaq/libstrangle After setting up libstrange and limitting to 60 fps, it ran fine on the highest settings.
After waking device from sleep once, the resolution was off. Fixed by setting another resolution, then back to 1280x800.
AMD_VULKAN_ICD=AMDVLK %command%
Game takes a long time to load on startup
Switching to AMDVLK was required for me, otherwise the game was unplayable due to severe artifacting.
Worked almost as well as on Windows, absolutely awesome.
At random moments, some audio effects would cut out, for example helicopter blade sound.
Rodou de primeira no Steam Deck! Lindo demais, pode ser considerado Nativo!
Nota 10
Some non-posed NPCs
WIll run fine with no issues one time...then crash after 25 minutes the next.
If the crashes could be fixed...or even "know" what is causing them it wouldn't be so bad. Each of my crashes has come randomly in different areas / different missions / doing different actions.
gamemoderun %command%
As with JC3, this dosen't support steam cloud either.
Lags horrendously after 2-5 minutes of gameplay.
Possibly a incompatibility between my hardware and proton running the game.
Occasional crash occurs out of the blue. Seemingly random.
Still managed to play it enough to clock the game.
crackled after a day being left in sleep mode, fixed with game restart
crashed once on default proton after first mission, only one crash since switching to GE
Only tested on default proton once, not sure if it's a consistent crash at beginning of first mission. It's pretty heavy on the battery, bringing it down to ~2 hrs. Haven't tweaked any settings to test battery life.
Works perfectly fine.
it was basicly if you smashed everything and then smeared blue flashing sludge over everything (but using amdvlk fixed it for some reason)
it gets stretched to a wierd resolution but borderless works fine
gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 %command%
It crashed 2 times in my ~15 hours of playtime. Both times when fast traveling somewhere
Game still runs just as bad as one windows, forcing me to use the amd fsr hack to get ""stable"" 60fps at 1440P

Have to correct my previous report here. Turns out my PC was unstable. The game still freezes sometimes however. Especially the mission to free the airport seems to be unplayable as the game freezes sooner or later during that mission.
Besides that you can play for hours on end without any issues, with a performance better than on windows.

Crashs and freezes very often once you get the heat on
I also tried other Proton Versions, newer and older, but to no success. Tried starting with PROTON_LOG=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command%, but also didn't help.
It's a real shame it crashes that much, as the performance is perfect otherwise.

Works out of the box better than Windows. Everything maxed out at 1440p running above 65fps. No stutters/lag and no FPS drops.
I used Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 for compatibility. An overall solid and extremely enjoyable experience. I played for 5 hours without pause and there were no crashes either. Alt-tabbing in and out for long periods of time works as it's supposed to also.
not related to proton, but still worth mentioning: progress fails to save to steam cloud. After disabling, saves behave properly
runs fine with proton experimental
runs fine for me with Proton Experimental
Ran perfectly for me, much better than JC3
Game crashes quite regularly for me, it would ruin the experience for a new player.
Game crashes frequently
Works well without any further issues except some crashes here and there (about every 1-2 hours) - but the game saves regularly
About every hour or so the game crashes without an error message. When I start it again, it launches normally and has saved to the latest checkpoint. Sometimes it runs longer, sometimes it crashes after 10 minutes, but mostly about every 1-2 hours

Managed to play all the DLCs and got almost every achievement, without any annoyances apart from some random crashes
6.13-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton 6.13-GE-1
Game crashed randomly. Sometimes after 15 minutes of gameplay, sometimes after 4 hours

The game is meh, but runs fine if you can stomach the occasional crashes.
Crashes once every few hours. At a guess its not because of running under Proton though, it seems to crash if I do some slightly weird collisions.
