Other than occasional control issues, this works perfectly out of the box.

Works perfectly with DirectX12
Random freezes with Vulkan renderer, be sure to select DX12 in the launcher. Great performance at Ultra details.

Game ran flawlessly, my friend played it on Win 10 and had no issues.
Startet mit einem Wine Run Time Fehler "vkqueuepresentkhr" irgend ein Problem mit einem Video was er nicht abspielen kann Das Steamoverlay abschaltet bietet abhilfe
I've completed the game without issues using Proton 8.0-4 and the Vulkan API

Great performance, played with highest quality and 3440x1440 resolution.
After the first time I played, the game crash starting the game. I was able to pinpoint the problem, and was Steam Overlay, if I Delete the Overlay Data, the game works again, until I close the game. For this game I had to disable permanently the Steam Overlay.
Works perfectly out of the box

Performance drop is because of the VRAM limit
i did some tests on Windows vs Linux, due to GPU limitation 2GB of VRAM, i had problems playing on Proton and Vulkan Freezes all the time but not DX12, so the best solution i got to run 60 fps is upscaling and running on GE Proton that fixes the Vulkan API on my end, did not have any trouble playing the game so far, if you have a beefy GPU it should not be a problem because the optimization on this game is really good and it runs amazing on Linux
Small but readable
Editing the control layout for mouse 1 button on a rear button for some in game items.
Finished campaign without issues
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command% fixed it.
Used to have to mess around alot to get this Game working but as of "Proton 7.0-1" it now works as it should, even the Launcher works now, so you can now edit/change advance settings and also pick to load/launch Vulkan mode or Direct X12.
I did need to use command line:
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%
as i had some crackling audio.

It always crashed before any actual playing could really be done and input was all over the place.
Seemed like random key and mouse events? It was all over the place.
Couldn't play it, it kept crashing after 15 minutes of co-op play.
Runs perfectly with the vulkan version :)
Works OOB and runs smoothly.
Works out of the box
Works perfectly without a workaround on Proton in native Vulkan mode or even with VKD3D (DX12). Vulkan can be selected in the game launcher.
Runs excellent. Performance is great. No bugs or hickups.
Just a small amount of cracking sound that's hardly noticeable while other sounds are playing.
Only ran the game with Vulkan.
Everything works out of the box, including the startup screen/dialog. Played all DLCs on Ultra, no issues at all.
Runs smoothly out-of-the-box
Start-up splash screen is black, but if you know where to click (upper-left part of the box) to start the game, everything works fine.
Works great out of the box. Run in borderless (not exclusive).
Alt-tabbing from exclusive fullscreen caused the game to freeze. Run in Borderless window.

Works almost flawlessly! Completely flawless in borderless window.
Running in exclusive fullscreen, after alt-tabbing out and back, the game stop reacting to any mouse and keyboard input. Borderless fullscreen works flawlessly.
Runs perfectly out of the box
The game launches and displays the starting window with out a problem (no more black screen and guessing where to click to start) using Proton 6.3-4. Choosing Vulkan, the game runs, multiplayer co-op campaign and Horde works as expected. Haven't tried Score Attack just yet.
It runs as if it were a native title - solid frame rate, no jitters and no problem with audio.
Plays perfectly in single-player. Haven't tried multiplayer.

Proton-5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll

Proton-5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Audio is about 2 seconds behind making it almost impossible to play.
Only tinker I used was the GE version of Proton but the game does launch out of the box with default proton the sound lag is evident in each. Even on other hardware.
The launcher does not render properly. Its completely black. You need to find the position of the "start game" button on the left side, see: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/920
After launching the game, it runs perfectly
Game played perfectly after renaming the executable with 91fps average on max settings measured with the built-in benchmark.
Had to rename the game executable from StrangeBrigade_Vulkan.exe to StrangeBrigade.exe to get past a black splash screen.
DX12 version works as well as a native game would. Great performance and didn't notice any problems at all.
Replace StrangeBrigade.exe with StrangeBrigade_DX12.exe
Vulkan version worked with Proton 4.2-9, but this doesn't seem to be the case any more.

Using Tab and Enter, I was able to confirm the Brightness, but I was never able to start he game.
Renaming the Vulkan Exe was required to even get this far

Just installed it and it worked, only tinkering involved was installing Proton 5.9 from GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.9-GE-5-ST GloriousEggroll
Latest version of Proton from GloriousEggroll
Hay que renombrar el archivo StrangeBrigade_Vulkan.exe a StrangeBrigade.exe y el juego se vá a ejecutar de forma exelente.
Replace StrangeBrigade.exe with StrangeBrigade_DX12.exe
Audio is randomly either screeching, crackling or silence.
The Vulkan version was perfectly playable with Proton 4.2-9 and Nvidia driver 430.26. Not sure what else changed.
You must rename StrangeBrigade_Vulkan.exe to StrangeBrigade.exe
If you're having troubles finding the executable, go to: Steam > Strange Brigade Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
It's inside the bin folder.
Played great.
As previously stated, I had to rename the StrangeBigade_Vulkan.exe to StrangeBrigade.exe in order to skip over the black splash screen. Once I did that the game opened, and played perfectly. No hiccups.
Al poco tiempo de estar en el menu se cuelga
Run perfectly, as it was native.
The Vulkan executable renaming process, is still needed however.
rename bin/StrangeBrigade_Vulkan.exe
to StrangeBrigade.exe
I also ran FeralGamemode and RADV_PERFTEST=aco
Replace bin/StrangeBrigade.exe
with bin/StrangeBrigade_Vulkan.exe
to get the game to run. The black splash that requires you to know where to click no longer pops up, and the game just runs once you use the correct EXE. Runs quite well with it!
