There's a bit issue with mouse cursor GUI, but other than that, absolutely fantastic game
Mouse Cursor in GUI is not appearing sometimes, ProtonGE handled better... I guess.
While I recommend using ProtonGE, to better I'm not sure if the mouse cursor disappearing thing is original Proton specific thing. 'cos GE happens too, just treats better.
Whatever, if you're on controller, you likely to not encounter this issue.

-screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 900 -screen-width 1600
In prefs.dat, change "fullscreen" to 2
The launch options and the prefs.dat file were modified to make alt-tab work fine on Linux. It'll launch as an actual window, but if you're using KDE you can override it as a Kwin rule. Then you'll get the game running on "full screen" while being able to alt-tab properly.

Works flawlessly out of the box.
No issues whatsoever.

gamemoderun %command%
occasionally on the level results screen, the cursor would become disabled. fixed by scrolling the mousewheel a little
if you are experiencing performance issues out of the box, running with gamemode is highly recommended
Works OOTB

While most of the levels perform fine, some are problematic and will dip your fps below 60
The game runs quite well out of the box and locked at stable 90 fps, but after finishing the game i would like to add that at least 10% to 20% of all levels will pefrorm "poorly" and dip your fps to 60. "poorly" because while it does dip to 60 which doesn't sound bad, the game itself runs very weirdly at 60 and doesn't feel like 60 whatsoever, so 90 is a must.

Works out the box maintaining stable 90 fps, the game itself is great

Works great outside of some cursor issues between levels
Unable to use the mouse after each level until I drag it completely out of the game and back in. I was able to use "Space" to continue and "F" to restart though.
Literally unplayable, unable to click any menu items because it keeps freezing.
gamemoderun %command%
Full playthrough OOTB with no issues

Runs well overall
Only on menus did the game sometimes not register keyboard inputs, making me need to get the mouse to show up, usually by scrolling down once. In game, there were no issues.
The End Mission segments run slower than I'd expect

You can't blame your bad times on Wine
Sometimes in the menus, my cursor would vanish unless I aggressively jiggled the mouse
With top-shelf CPU and GPU, I should easily be clocking over 100 FPS, but I only get that kind of performance in the menus.
60 FPS if you're lucky, and the cursor is janky, but the game plays just fine. During the important gameplay -- the first-person parkour -- there are no input issues.

Game freezes and presents a black screen on alt tab
Input in menus would quit working after taking certain actions. Not a major issue as said actions cause the game to save, and you can restart without losing progress.

Seems like if you launch game with Proton 8 first (after install) it won't run. I tried Proton 7 and restarted system - then it runs.
Completed the game just fine, though on one level mid-game I had performance issues. For weaker hardware try using mangohud with limit fps option.
Doesn't seem to work right now. After launch no windows show up. Tried with Proton 6/7/8/Experimental and GE 7/8.

Steam says launching, and never launches
I click play, and it acts as if it's being very slow to launch, but it never marks me as playing it, and the game never appears, fullscreen or otherwise.
I did try tweaking it, but that didn't work either. I don't even get a proton log when I set PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
.
I also tried reinstalling, and verifying files, which hung on Resetting install script...
.
Machinegirl is a banger, game works very well.
Runs Like native. Great experience
Works great, runs like native.
Sometimes the cursor would disappear, and you have to wiggle the mouse for it to appear
Works almost perfectly if not for the alt-tabbing issues
The game just shows black screen after alt-tabbing out of it, needs to be restarted. Also had trouble capturing footage from the game which also showed black screen. I only managed to do that with OBS game capture plugin, and starting recording before starting the game. Note: I'm using Gnome on Wayland, don't know if it's an issue on X.org.
Works perfectly!
Works OOTB
Corre excelente hasta ahora
Hay unos cuantos freezeos al cumplir el nivel (cuando se llega a la meta),pero no es algo que consideraria injugable.
All good, everything works out of the box
Works well overall, just some small issues which can be worked around
Had to switch to borderless fullscreen to alt-tab properly
Mouse disappearing inbetween levels, fixed by wiggling the mouse
Less FPS compared to windows, but above 100 FPS
Runs very well on default settings and no framerate cap
THE GAME WAS FINE. The Shift+Tab steam overley text chat with freinds had a delay and was missing a mouse cursor, made steam chat an awful experiance. The actual game was fine.

Perfect!
No issues.
when tabbing back in the screen is black and the program stops responding
gamemoderun %command%
The game freezes when Alt-Tabbing (Black screen and Gnome saying the application doesn't respond)
The cursor takes a long time to reappear after finishing levels
gamemoderun %command%

DXVK_ASYNC=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 gamemoderun %command%
Works just about perfectly.
Overlay caused some lag.
