Protontricks to install the newest version of punkbuster

Overall (online):Excellent
It is required to update the punkbuster version to the newest one via protontricks. You can donwload punkbuster (for windows) from their website. If the EA launcher when installing for the first time crashes, use Proton7, then you can switch to 9 / 10 / experimental to play the game.

Works a little worse than on windows. Due to proton bug LD_PRELOAD="" is required, or the performance will degrate within an hour even more.

Works fantasticly on native with 220 mods.
There is a bug (?), where the game lags hard when using a mousewheel to drag the camera. Use https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2986170057 to fix that.
