Works fine out of the box, albeit with some low FPS sections
Lower FPS in a few areas/circumstances. A little annoying but nowhere near unplayable
I don't know if the low FPS are due to a lack of game optimization or due to Proton
It is fully playable (better than on Windows from my experience), the glitches are mildly irritating but bearable
There were like 3 or so situations where audio was playing twice. Very, very minor issue
Occasionally things would show up on top of each other (think like an object should be behind a barrel and obstructed by it but instead the object is obstructing the barrel). Some animations don't play properly.
I can't say whether the glitches are due to being on Linux or just the game being poorly programmed
Works fine out of the box
Played through the game twice and played the endless mode for about 2h, all with no issues
Works fine out of the box
There's an intentional slowdown effect when hitting enemies which can feel like lag when hitting many enemies, but it can be turned off in the settings
FMOD_ALSA_DEVICE=pulse %command%
No sound devices detected, thus no sound. The launch parameter fixed that
Map overlay doesn't show walls
Native Linux version is playable but using Proton Experimental was a better experience
--doorstop-enable true --doorstop-target "Z:/home/<user>/.config/r2modmanPlus-local/LethalCompany/profiles/miithal company/BepInEx/core/BepInEx.Preloader.dll" --r2profile "<profile>"
Vanilla did also work fine, but I only played for about 30 minutes. The launch option starts the game with a specific mod profile/collection. Had no issues that did not also happen to people on Windows.
Native version seems a bit behind, use Proton instead
Mouse not properly captured inside the window with native Linux version
Use Proton and it's perfectly playable
Perfectly playable out of the box, played through the entire game without issues
Anti-cheat throws an error "Unable to start the game process"
Completely unplayable, can't even get into the main menu
Perfectly playable. The minor, rare graphical issues could also just be the game itself
Very occasional invisible objects or stuff "snapping" to its intended position
Perfectly playable out of the box, played through the entire game without issues
WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=4:0,1,2,3 %command%
Without the launch option, I was only getting ~75 FPS at 1440 resolution, regardless of which other graphics settings I chose. And those 75 FPS did not feel consistent. Not unplayable, but quite unenjoyable and definitely way too low considering my hardware
Perfectly playable out of the box, played through the entire game without issues
Switch to Proton
Native version shows blackscreen, Proton works fine
Runs pretty much just like on Windows. You'll need good hardware because the game isn't well optimized.
Game has occasional noticeable FPS dips. But this is also the case on Windows, so it's most likely just the game being unoptimized
