Works fine out of the box
Also no problems playing coop via Steam Remote Play Together
Had to enable Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout) to play this game, otherwise works perfectly.
works great
Works great out of the box

The level editor does not work without keyboard & mouse

works great OOTB
considering the submissions from a few months ago saying this game is broken, there must've been an update that fixed the Linux build of this game. I only got this game recently, and I had no issues whatsoever

Been playing for over 10 hours. Perfect experience both in game mode and desktop mode, no proton required. Controller works fine

Recordings can't be saved and the game doesn't fit the full screen but otherwise is fun and works
The save and cancel buttons on the save file window for recordings can't be pressed at all

after the tech update the game no longer launches. ive tried various versions of proton but none worked.
the turtle update did not change this.

It seems like the Linux beta branch that's mentioned in other reports has since been released. I had no issues installing or running the game, and the controls worked perfectly out of the box.

the game works but only in windowed mode
the issue with the zero byte install with no files that cant run has been resolved but the game starts in widowed mode and experiences extreme graphical issues if you resize the window or try to put it in fullscreen. if you want to play in windowed mode the linux version is perfectly playable. trying to use the windows version with proton simply does not launch.

Switch to Beta branch
External Controller needs some remapping in steam to work
Once you switch to the Linux Beta branch in the properties for the game it downloads and plays just fine in handheld mode. I mistakenly stated that the input mappings were off in my previous report, this is only the case for external controllers, where you will need to set something to X on the keyboard in order to fire your tool. After that it works alright with some slight control hiccups here and there.

Switch to beta branch, reorder controller, custom control scheme
X (Gamepad) to X (Keyboard), Start to Escape Key, Select to R (Keyboard)
certain mappings were correct but i had to manually map a fire key
At present you can't even download the game properly without switching to the Linux beta branch. After that it launches fine but requires tinkering with the controls within Steam. I made a community layout but for bare minimum play you just need to set something to X on the keyboard as the controller mapping to fire your tool doesn't work.

Same issues as I had on desktop; no files installed w/o forcing proton. When forcing proton, game does not launch whatsoever.
Game needs to be updated by the developer to support proton, unsure what's causing this.

Game installs no files w/o forcing proton; even when forcing proton, game files do show up but nothing happens when launching.
Game doesn't work just yet unfortunately.

When you first download the game the download is listed as 0 bytes and trying to launch it will just say missing executable cause it's not there. So you turn on proton and it downloads the windows version which DOES exist but doesn't launch.
