Minor periods of low framerate. Had to use Proton Experimental for Gamma adjustment to work.
I would occasionally see the FPS drop to ~40 for short periods, usually around saves/moving to new areas.
I experienced a single crash caused by an access violation when loading between two areas.
Overall a very playable and stable experience. Experienced a single crash and only a few minor periods of low (steady ~40fps) framerate. Experience was similar to playing on Windows.

Performance under proton 7.0-6 was unplayable with very poor framepacing. Runs flawlessly under experimental. Frametime spikes when loading appear as slight stutters same between native and proton. Save games cannot be shared between native and proton version.

Runs great. Haven't noticed any issues whatsoever.
Cannot enable MSAA, or soft shadows and performance is low given the age of the game, but can get a very enjoyable, playable experience.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
MSAA is broken leaving boxes of artifacts on the screen if enabled. FXAA and SMAA work fine. Enabling Soft Shadows, low, med, high crashes the game immediately and will prevent launching. Necessary to manually edit/delete config files to get it launching again.
Game doesn't run great, can't maintain a steady 60fps at 4k max settings; regularly drops down into the 40s or even high 30s. 1440p maintains solid 60fps though. Game is capped at 60fps.
MSAA causes visual artifacts and soft shadows cause the game to crash. Performance isn't great even on very high end hardware, but a playable experience can be achieved by lowering resolution and/or settings. As other have mentioned, I did have to sign into the Ubisoft launcher the first couple of starts but then it started launching with asking to login. Have played ~4h crash and issue free so far.
Game fails to launch due to EasyAntiCheat with Unexpected Error (#1)
Spent an hour or so trying to figure out what EAC Error (#1) is, and how to fix but was unabled. Tried different proton version, launch options mentioned on protondb and in reddit for other EAC games but was unable to launch.
Cutscenes are unplayable, but aside for brief periods with reduced fps, gameplay is excellent.
Cutscenes start playing fine but after a couple of minutes, audio and video fall out of sync and audio becomes a total stuttery mess.
Cutscenes start playing fine but after a couple of minutes, audio and video fall out of sync and video plays at < 30 fps.
Occasionally stutters/low fps for brief period when entering certain ares. Feels shader compilation related as some areas aren't slow on subsequent visits.
Initially had issues with EAC which it turns out were caused by my CPU having more than 32 cores. Disabling cores > 32 allowed me to launch the game successfully. Once in game, was able to part up with friends and play online without issues cross platform.
I originally filed that this was broken, but after figuring out the issue with EAC was caused by a core count > 32, I was able to play online with friends for 2 hours without no gameplay or connectivity issues. A word of warning, do not switch proton version after running the game!. The game appears to be using Denuvo DRM and switching proton version to try and see if it helped with the poor cutscene performance, locked me out of the game.

I symlinked the launcher .exe which runs by default to the main game exe to bypass the useless launcher
The useless 2k launcher is annoying but easily bypassed. Game runs flawlessly.

Runs perfectly, with performance as-good as, if not better than on Windows. No slowness or graphical degradation. Racing Wheel (Logitech G920) worked out of the box too. Online challenges and leaderboards all work without issue. Flawless experience.

Worked prefectly with my default proton configuration

Graphics are very stylized, but game seems to run perfectly, and videos played without issue.
I see some black horizontal bands which look like tearing at the very top of the screen occasionally, despite vsync being enabled. I'm streaming the game via sunshine/moonlight so not 100% sure if it's related to that, but otherwise game runs flawlessly
Had to switch to proton experimental to fix gamma calibration which was not adjusting gamma in game using default proton. Works flawlessly aside from occasional minor black banding at the very top of the screen when moving the camera fast.

Game ran perfectly out of the box with my default proton settings. Getting a near locked 120fps. Very smooth experience. Not hit any graphical, audio, control or stability issues in ~4 hours of play so far.
Game would not launch in DX12 mode, immediate crash to desktop. Vulkan launches fine. Single player works great, but no online
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 mangohud %command%
Online broken due to EasyAntiCheat. Gives error about unknown version of xcurl.dll
Works fine single player as long as you set the renderer to Vulkan in the launcher, but no online, including co-op works due to Easy AntiCheat.
Same experience as playing in windows. No issues with EAC or any other issues with latency or joining servers.
Great experience, no issues
Ran better on Linux than under Windows
Running under proton I saw smoother frametimes and better overall performance than in Windows. Great experience, everything worked flawlessly

It was necessary to force Proton Experimental for PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI fix. PC port is overall poorly optimized and so wasn't able to maintain a consistent 60fps at 4k Ultra on a 3090 even with DLSS Balanced enabled. Game averaged ~50fps. Experienced a couple of crashes, mainly whilst shaders were still compilng. Initial shader compilation takes a while, but once in game is smooth, albeit not very high FPS overall.
