quelques craquement audio mais tout le reste fonctionne aussi bien que sur windows (meme performances) / some audio crackling but everything else works as well as on Windows (same performance)

Can be enjoyed however if you are prone to epilepsy i would stay clear
screen flickering in outdoor missions/static indoors
after 2 hours or so of gameplay mouse becomes jittery fixed with a restart

I get a smooth 70-100 FPS at all times with no stutters on Ultra @ 1440p on my hardware. Game runs great, no complaints.

I am getting the same performance on fedora 41 as I am win Win 11. I'm getting as low as 55 fps native resolution 3440x1440 with no upscaling and as high as 104 fps.
i average 68 fps. for whatever reason, the night time scenes with heavy rain cause the frame rate to tank into 55 fps territory. That includes the small amount of overhead needed to record the gameplay footage. It's the same performance hit I take in win 11. I lose about 3 fps when recording.

I didn't experiment with other Proton versions, so it is possible I would have had a better experience had I experiemented a bit.
It only happened once during the beginning of the DLC, didn't experience anywhere else in the main campaign
When I would tab out and then back in, I had no control for some reason, tabbed out and back in and it would work.
The game would sometimes freeze and it would either unfreeze after a couple of seconds or it would soft crash my PC
What I mentioned previously about freezing
Overall, a very enjoyable experience, I would recommend people try it out on Linux, my problems don't necessarily mean you will have issues

after first install, the game will build the shaders once. that will take 15 minutes. it is recommended to start the game after that is done
it works out of the box on linux. this game is pretty impressive from a technical standpoint. I have set everything on ultra on 1440p with 120 resolution scale with 40 sharpening. no dlls or fsr. I have capped the framerate to 60 fps. I've got a solid 60 fps on average in-game. going higher with res scale (140, 160, 180, 200) is very-very demanding and alghough it will elevate the fidelity even more, it will tank the fps. It seems like the game is utilizing the hardware correctly. this is a very well made game, and I recommend it for linux players. good stuff

Game did not launch past the spining coin graphic.
Had to install vcrun2022 or the game would be stuck at coin spining screen
It finally works - winetricks is my best friend

Runs pretty good with the Wayland driver, NTsync, and HDR. Load times are much quicker with NTsync compared to Fsync.
DISPLAY="" LD_PRELOAD="" mangohud DXVK_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 DXVK_NVAPI_GPU_ARCH=AD100 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=b" %command% skiplogos
Minor window focus issues with mouse when opening the game menu and then going back to game in Wayland.
DISPLAY="" is to enable the Wayland driver LD_PRELOAD="" There is a problem with the Steam overlay that causes stuttering and this fixes it for the time being DXVK_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 these are needed for HDR. If you have Nvidia, you will have to install the vk-hdr-layer to get the color space to pass through correctly. Refer to https://github.com/jp7677/dxvk-nvapi for your model WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=b" is needed to fix the low resolution texture or lack of textures issues
TKG-Proton has prebuilt releases that you can download. Go to the GIT page and sign in with your Git account to download. My version, I compiled myself against the latest Wine 10.6 but you don't have to do that.
NTsync runs great on this game and there is bump in performance, FPS and better Frame Times compared to Fsync. Also the load times are better.

Had to force experimental to get rid of most of the audio crackling.
I've noticed slight drops in FPS once going into dark interiors. Frame generation helps considerably.
It seems that even though the game has gotten improved since release, it still does suffer from slight performance issues regardless of your specs. Frame generation is recommended if you want a bit more stability in FPS.

Instalar y jugar. Perfecto
Sin tener que hacer nada, se puede instalar y jugar en linux perfectamente.

Not playable for now with my setup as I could not get past the second cinematic no matter the options I tried.
Playing with a nintendo switch controller (and properly recognized as is in the game menu). The controller's mapping was wrong. I had to invert X and Y buttons with respect to the in-game helpers.
I could not get past the second cinematic when the window breaks. I tried multiple in game settings (reducing quality and FPS to a minimum) and various proton versions and launch arguments. But no matter what, the game would freeze at the moment the window breaks. I had to wait for all the shaders to be built, otherwise I would not get past the first cinematic.

i eventually capped the fps to 40 at some point in the campaign and i still enjoyed the game overall
some sections of the game run fine, while in others the game barely reaches 30 fps. this pc port sucks in general but i think i had worse performance than what i would get on windows

- there were clipping and light screen in 1 scene in the hearing mode
- in 1 dark scene there was a little fuzziness on thje objects Both artifacts were minor and didn't last long.
I've had issues with Mesa 25.0.3(crashing once in a while, so i've stopped playing) but after updating to 25.0.4 i haven't seen a single crash and finished the game. Problems of early adopters in Linux with 9070 XT.

EDIT: as i cant find a way to edit or delete my initial report, this is the only way i've found to say I ADDED MY TLOUP1 REMASTERED experience to the wrong TLOUP1 protondb page so ignore everything i said. sorry. manually migrating to the remastered page

Fixed by: Scaling Mode - Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution - BALANCED, if quality was set I had multiple crashes in one ingame location!
Works 100% perfectly. Smooth and bug free on Ultra @ 1440p60.

Screen would freeze when going over 60fps.
If you're using an RX 9070 (XT) card, the game crashes frequently. It will sometimes freeze and coloured blocks appear on the screen.
To fix:
- run the game with GE Proton 9-27
- cap the framerate to 60fps (there is an in-game setting for this)
Once I did both of the above the game ran flawlessly for hours with no crashing.

PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 DXVK_HDR=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%
issues are minor; possibly fixed by upping latency via in game settings -> audio -> latency
RE: TLOUPI: re-compiles shaders every launch. i've seen others claiming to experience this - often, followed by replies from guys insisting this is impossible. as a kinda competent pc guy myself, i totally get the reply guys certainty. but literally, i close game & immediately re-launch = long af shader comp, again. also science: i played thru entire game when it first released on Steam, same pc/hardware, but on Windows, & shader comp was as expected: first launch, driver update, etc. side note: on my system TLOUPI requires an odd selection/amount of specific args to even launch (i.e. TLOUPII remaster is just standard-level Linux finicky)...
as one of the only weirdos on earth that thinks part II is not just perfect, but superior to part I in every way - the sub par performance i'm experiencing makes me throw up a little bit in the back of my heart

If random crashes will stop than yes, it will be an enjoyable experiance.
It shows multicolour cube artifacts, freezes and crashes. All at random times, sometimes after more than 1 hour play session sometimes more than 2 and sometimes few minutes into the game.
Maybe it's because drivers for 9070 XT are too immature

Screen freezes infrequently and occassionally crashes.
Unplayable in this state.

FPS would drop below 30 for at most 10 secs like 4 times, seemed pretty random
I could not progress at the end of the section where you escape through the sewers with Ellie and Tess, the game would freeze within 15 seconds of loading the checkpoint. It finally worked at the 10th or so try after removing DXVK_FRAME_RATE from launch options, though it may be just a coincidence. Played without any launch options from that point.
It happened twice later in the game, the other time would require like 4 tries to finally work, without changing any settings.

gamemoderun %command%
Works a tiny bit better with by using gamemode.

Random texture pop outs & pop ins (rare)
The game crashed two times during playthrough.
Let the shaders compile first when you're in the game menu, otherwise there will be audio and fps issues. Try different launch options if the game doesn't start.

crackling started near the beggining of the game (more so in rainy parts). lowered master to 95 and ran game with GE-Proton9-16 (9-03 works also) to fix the issue.
when low on health, and the red mist decends on the screen, fps drops to 40fps
i ran everything on low to achieve 60fps

Worked Out of the Box
Textures sometimes poped in and out.
Game freezes on rotating coin

The game freezes at the rotating coin

No matter which Proton version, I had crashes from time to time and believe that it has to do with the RAM usage. Especially when levels were loaded after a longer playing time of 1-2 hours, the game often crashed completely. But it wasn't so bad that it became unplayable. And I had great pleasure playing it.
I couldn't find out exactly what the crashes were. My system was nowhere near full. So it must have something to do with the game. Nevertheless, absolutely playable without problems.

Works great out of the box
Everything worked fine out of the box. The only thing i could not get to work was HDR. For some reason this game does not recognnize my HDR Display eventhough it is enabled in the screens settings and in my Plasma 6 Settings
Everything works out of the box, nothing to see here and enjoy your game.

PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 DXVK_HDR=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%

Frame generation works but render quality kind of sucks.

The graphics settings on Linux or really lower than what I can get with the same hardware on Windows unfortunately
I could not go through one checkpoint as the game was always crashing. Sometimes at the beginning of the checkpoint and sometimes when I died
