Runs really well, I didn't notice any difference in performance compared to Windows.
It runs pretty alright. I had to configure the graphical settings due to my hardware, but it's still enjoyable imo
VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_1 %command%
Lower framerate than I expected
Very enjoyable experience, I had no issue throughout my whole time playing the game on my Linux machine.
The game runs very well, runs pretty much straight out of the box
Some frame drops here and there
A very enjoyable experience
You just need to adjust some graphical settings to achieve 30-40FPS and it is a very enjoyable experience.
The game runs great, the only real annoyance is the mandatory of the Uplay launcher
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
The game was running around mid to high 50s FPS, some areas, I was able to get 60FPS
It overall ran fine, but it ran way smoother on Windows at higher settings. It's still playable, I just wanted a more smooth experience.
Compared to Windows, the game would run with lower FPS, around 10-15FPS
It runs really well. Only problem I had was that I could not play the game with 2 monitors, but that is an issue of the game, not linux.
It ran just fine, no major problem, just the graphical issue I mentioned before. Overall, very much playable
Bottom of the screen would glitch when scrolling and the supervisor started talking
For some reason, when I chose to go on Fullscreen, the game was transfered to my second monitor, even though I have set my main monitor via my system settings. Furthemore, when the game was on my second monitor, I could not properly select anything from the menu, my cursor had to be on the other side of the screen to make the selection I wanted. So my only to way to play on my main monitor is to play on windowed mode...
Pretty much runs out of the box
I personally had no issues playing the game, I didn't have to tinker or anything, run with the current proton version
I was able to play the game from start to finish on my Linux machine with no major issues.
At some random point, Leon's/Claire's hair would freak out and the whole screen would be covered by it, making it impossible to play. Thankfully that was rare, but still inconvenient
This happened only once, while moving the mouse, the cursor would go up and down. After I restarted the game it never happened again.
I saw many reports on ProtonDB of their game running perfectly well on the current proton version, but for me it would crash pretty frequently, I don't know what might have caused it, but once I switched to Proton 7.0.6, I had no major issues. A very enjoyable experience on Linux!
After switching the proton version to 7.0.6. the game was playable, any other proton version crashed the game for me.
At somepoint in the endgame, the textures of the room strarted stretching which forced me to reload the last save.
Overall my game crashed once, and it hard crashed my computer. It was during a quite cpu intensive moment, so that could have been the reason for the crash.
I had some issues here and there, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. You might need to tinker more or less depending on your hardware I suppose
The game runs really well, I did not expect any difference in the performance I got in windows with the one on Linux.
I was able to play the game from start to finish with my friend. We didn't encounter any issues!
Overall the game ran just fine, I didn't face any issues that were game breaking. Only a bit of artifacting with the lighting
Played the game from start to finish, no major issues that I was not able fix. Just had to switch to a different proton version
At one point in the game after a cutscene was finished the game would freeze and crash
A great experience to play on linux
Only thing you have to do is switch to forced experimental, otherwise it runs an older version of the game. It runs really well
It was really nice. But for some reason, when I tried to play the game when I had two monitors active, the game windows would bug out.
If I had two monitors active when launching the game, it was forced to the right side of the monitor
I figured out that after launcing the game, I could re-enable my second monitor.
While using Steam's proton 7.0.6 I had some FPS drops every now and then
Tried to launch the game and the same error popped up every time. GPU supporting D3D_feature_level_12_0 or higher
Runs really well, I had no major issue, only some drops every now and then
There were some FPS drops, but they were not frequent
