Multiplayer doesn't work because of a recent glibc update, see the reports from other people for a fix with execstack. Or just run Steam in Offline mode
Resolving the multiplayer issue, it works great!
Works perfectly

execstack -c libGalaxy64.so && execstack -c libGalaxyCSharpGlue.so
in the game folder to fix glibc compatibility issue. Then runs great
10/10 game, try to play with friends
Experienced some light artifacting/screen tearing. Running in wayland made this disappear.

Beautiful game that can be experienced natively
No issues so far and I'm moving into the summer season.
Someone complained that they have to use SMAPI for windows or anything like that. You don't. SMAPI is available for Linux and installation is as easy as it can get. Some mods do list compatibility with MacOS and Linux but most don't. I've got about 60 mods installed ranging from huge expansions like Stardew Valley Expanded, through graphical ones like Dynamic Refelctions to trivial ones like portraits. No issues whatsoever.

Worked flawlessly with zero tinkering!

Randomnly would get kicked. Wouldn't see anyone CoOp lobbies on experimental. Could also be a windows bug. Will update if I find out more. Otherwise, playing with wife just fine after she at least invites, then I can just join at anytime.
Other than my multiplayer issue that was easily solved, no issues.

Why would anyone use Proton on this?
weird lines at bottom third of screen
Worked perfectly
Worked perfectly 10/10
pkexec nvidia-smi -lgc 1000,1000 ; %command% ; pkexec nvidia-smi -rgc
If you experience tearing and or jittering using a Nvidia GPU (3080 ti in my case) look here!
Add the above launch options to your game.
They basically force your GPU to a specific clock, and then reset them when the game is closed. You may need to tinker with the exact clock speed depending on your GPU.
The tearing happens if your GPU goes below a certin clock speed (you will have to find the sweet spot on your own).
Seeing as nvidia-smi needs sudo rights we use the pkexec command to make a password prompt appear. This means that you will have to enter your sudo password everytime you start and exit the game.
Incredible

Multiplayer is the backbone of Stardew Valley. It not working on the native build is a massive issue.
Mute button on the main menu would not reset when navigating around
Could not play online when running the game natively - switching to Proton fixed everything.
El mejor juego nativo 👍

Runs well on native without any issues, works fine with Proton as well.
Slight stutters from time to time
If you experience frequent stutters make sure your power profile is set to Performance, the game does not like CPU switching it's frequency rapidly.

bash <<< "`sed 's/Stardew Valley.exe/StardewModdingAPI.exe/' <<< "%command%"`"
Ran batch to install SMAPI
Adding support for windows mods that only work under wine (vs linux native) achieved by adding the launch argument.

Perfect out of the box.
170 hours with zero issues.

Works natively.
Sometimes when starting, would revert to fullscreen many times per second and would mess up game. Requires restart to fix and then works normally.

Played with friend who was using Windows.
Works flawlessly on Native.
TDP Limit 7 Watts

Good, Running Flawlessly
This Game is Good
Enjoy playing this game on linux

- Back buttons for quick access to mods
- Left trackpad as mod menu
I installed too many mods and the game crashed while using tractor. Maybe I shpuld play properly.
Rant: Nexus mods is a garbage fire, I don't want/need another account, and they won't let me register with my primary email (using my own domain)

It works out of the box
Works flawlessly out of the box. Modding is easy and works well too.

mangohud game-performance %command%
Multiplayer, p2p with friends. Works normal.
I played this on Manjaro with proton 9.0 and am currently playing it on CachyOS with their custom stuff. Worked great on both.

Perfectly native with controller!
Was able to join friend's server with multiple players who were running Windows.
Perfect native Linux game! Played with Xbox One controller.
Works flawlessly!
Stardew Valley has native Linux support which works flawlessly. I was able to install SMAPI for mods as well without any trouble.

Works natively
It works natively, without Proton
Works perfectly fine

Native support and works right out of the box.
Stardew Valley works right out of the box because it has native support. I hadn't tried playing multiplayer. SMAPI works like a charm, and I could install additional mods. In a worse scenario, you can run the Windows version with Proton or Wine, but I haven't dealt with that issue.

Dock your deck, sit on the couch, and play for hours on end. No issues; one of the best native games to play on Deck.
