i didnt have my fps turned on so it's hard to say. I did get what 'felt like' frame time spikes. I forgot to enable game mode.

the touch pad on my ps4 controller launched desktop in fedora. I had to use the Share button in its place. Yes I have touch pads radio butt on unchecked in my settings.

I am getting the same performance on fedora 41 as I am win Win 11. I'm getting as low as 55 fps native resolution 3440x1440 with no upscaling and as high as 104 fps.
i average 68 fps. for whatever reason, the night time scenes with heavy rain cause the frame rate to tank into 55 fps territory. That includes the small amount of overhead needed to record the gameplay footage. It's the same performance hit I take in win 11. I lose about 3 fps when recording.
