Looks like 525 NVidia drivers won't work. Impossible to play, heavy visual artifacts even in the menu until everything turns black.
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 %command% --intro-skip --launcher-skip -skipStartScreen
Seeing as af of the time of writing the only driver on Debian is 525 (except for 535 in experimental) it will not work (unless you install the drivers from the NVidia site). Upgrading your drivers should fix the problem, though.
The game doesn't start. It used to work but it does not anymore.

YMMV
Compared to the Windows version, where I can run everything on max without any problems, I get very low FPS even on the lowest settings.
The game runs fine on my system but I had to tweak some things. Apart from that it only crashed once when I minimsed it.
I had to disable the Ubisoft overlay since I cannot make it disappear. Also the multiplayer does not work at all, i.e. Far Cry Arcade and the game is pestered with it although it is supposed to be single player. Furthermore I have to enter my ubisoft password every time I start the game and it wants to install some Microsoft net framework.
If your hardware can handle this game you should be fine.
The game runs terribly slow with my current hardware configuration.
You can install and play Noita without problems on a Linux machine, regardless of video card (tested with an HD 4000 and a GTX 970).
On this particular machine this game runs slower than it is supposed to, however, that is due to the hardware. Running it on a different Linux machine (with a GTX 970) ehxibits no such problems and the game runs smoothly.
I can get into the configuration menu where I set it to windowed mode and turned down the settings but it still doesn't start.
When I try to start the game I get the error message "CreateTexture2D: Invalid Parameter" twice. The game never really starts.
When the starting the game it briefly shows a black screen and then goes back to desktop.
This happens also on my desktop running Ubuntu with an i5 and a GTX 970.
Apart from the crashes the game seems to work fine.
Game crashes sometimes. Don't know whether it's related to Linux or it being early access.
When you try to start the game nothing happens. Steam claims the game is running but there is no actual game window.
The game starts, however, all of the text in the game is unreadable. It's just blocky character.
If the game runs it runs slowly. Unfortunately it crashes and then the whole system is down.
I have to set everything to low to get a playable framerate and even then I get slowdowns.
The game crashes and takes the whole system with it. Cannot even ssh into the machine.
Works like a charm. Runs smooth, no problems, except for starting up the game (see this and other reviews). After that everything is fine.

As others have mentioned you have to install this Uplay thing
echo "%command%" | sed 's/GRB_vulkan.exe/UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe/' | sh
After that you have to remove it and it works like a charm.
