Native version doesn't work. Works perfectly with proton, but only on xorg, computer pretty much freezes when launching it on wayland. (Gnome)
White screen. Tried workarounds others mentioned but did not work. Tried both Xorg and Wayland. Gnome desktop.
Now works perfectly for me, both Xorg and Wayland works fine. No workarounds needed.
Same as previous report. Nothing happens when starting game. Error message when starting launcher.
Always crashes after a cutscene in The Crystal Spire, around 13 hours into the game.
A few random crashes.
Works well, except for a few random crashes.
Disregard my previous report. If the game crashes after a cutscene in The Crystal Spire, it is a game bug, it has nothing to do with Proton. The bug can be worked around by leveling up before the cutscene or trying the game's beta branch.
Native game does not work with AMD cards. Runs perfectly with Proton, only issue I've discovered is that the game crashes if you try to change the V-sync setting. Played over 50 hours so far.
Playable without issues, only crashes when trying to quit the game, but maybe that happens on Windows as well, haven't tested. Version 1.253
Unplayable because of broken Xbox One controller mapping. Window also appears on wrong screen.
Window appeared on wrong screen (on my TV) and hence too high (4K) resolution for my PC monitors. Used to work correctly before Feb 2 patch.
Xbox One controller not mapped correctly, unplayable. Used to work before Feb 2 patch.
Only launcher works. Crashes instantly when clicking play.
Tried the winetricks fixes mentioned by others, the game still won't start.
Sometimes crashes when transitioning to a new area. Loading up the save after the crash will start you after the transition so you can keep playing.
Native does not work, Proton works well.
Native version does not work which is way too common for Linux games.
Launches if renaming MOVIES folder as others mentioned. Crashes after a few minutes of playing. Did not detect my controller.
Crashes after clicking play in the main menu.
Same with Proton Experimental and GE-Proton7-15.
The game window appears with error message "TypeError: Cannot read property 'blendModes' of undefined". Nothing else happens.
Black title screen, don't know if it's supposed to be like that. Works perfectly otherwise.
Does not launch.
Does not launch on the Deck or on my Arch desktop. Neither native nor proton. Tried Proton 4.11 as well and got a white screen on the Deck and nothing at all on my desktop PC.
Only shows a black screen upon starting the game. Requires Media Foundation workaround, which I didn't bother trying.
Runs perfectly with D9VK. WineD3D fails to render characters correctly.
Worked perfectly until latter half of Spyro 3 when videos stopped working.
Videos stopped working in the later part of Spyro 3.
Spyro 1 & 2 worked flawlessly. Videos in Spyro 3 stopped working in the latter half of the game. Went back and checked Spyro 2 and the videos still worked there.
Black screen only.
Tried Proton 7.0, Proton Experimental, Proton-GE 7.0. All give a black screen only.
Game saves as *.tmp folder but tries to load from Vampire_Survivors folder. Have to manually rename the folder after each session.
Achievements only worked first run of the game, but not subsequent runs.
"PROTON_LOG=1 %command%" launch option required to launch.
